The blade is effective and it was very easy to use to trim plants - I used it to cut some broken bird or paradise fronds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect product for all of my outdoor upkeep needs. I have fruit trees (apple, pear, and peach) and this works perfectly for pruning small offshoots. I have many different outdoor garden beds and my weed eater actually just died on me so this works perfectly to trim down the grass and weed that are around the edges of the edging that the mower won't reach. It also edges things like sidewalk edging etc. it's decently sharp but not overly sharp to the point that I'm going to cut my finger off thankfully 😂 easy to handle and maneuver. Easy to clean. And the sheath holds it securely so that it's safe when it's being stored! Great quality at a great price!

Multifunctional and I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just started spring cleanup since it's been a cooler season, so I've had a good chance to put the Fiskars 13" Billhook to the test. It made quick work of removing raspberry suckers, sliced through stems easily with the smooth blade, sawed off old branches with the serrated side, and I was able to easily clean up along landscaping where grass was growing over the edging. This tool is durable, easy to hold in multiple ways with its ergonomic handle, and has a good weight in the hand. It stores in a sheath that closes with both Velcro and a snap which I appreciate since this tool is sharp, the sheath also has a convenient belt loop. Highly recommend!

Great multi-use tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fiskars Billhook can be used for multiple purposes. We edged the sidewalk cut a tree branch and planted vegetables. It has a nice strong handle and the blade was sharp to cut the tree branch. It also come with a cover to keep safe when not in use

Nice virsatil product can get many jobs done with one tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of those tools you don't know you need until you have it.  It feels well made, comes with a tough belt holster, and has a very sharp blade for cutting small branches off of trees.  The handle feels solid in your hand. This is so much faster than trying to clip little branches with pruners.  I can see this tool getting a lot of use next spring with our crepe myrtles.  

The instructions say that it'll work for edging and separating plants - and I think it would do a fine job at both of those tasks as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fiskars Billhook (13”) works very well for cutting back overgrown plants, trimming thick stems, and edging flower beds. It feels comfortable and sturdy. The blade is sharpe and effective. A great tool for keeping yard maintenance.

Reliable

The tool is NOT sharp, on any of the edges. I tried to saw through a small root and the root won. As for using it to edge grass? Nope.. Useless piece of garden equipment. Oh, and the sheath? It was not possible to snap shut as the snap did not reach the snap button. SAD Fiskars!! BAD Fiskars!!!
