It does a good job at raking leaves and pine needles. It's light, long enough for good reach, and the tines flex without staying bent or separating. It also holds up well if you leave it out in the rain for two weeks. I'd been struggling with a cheap busted rake and finally decided to replace it. I didn't expect it to make this much difference, but the job took me an afternoon instead of the whole week. If you're considering it, just buy it.

Great Handle and grip.  Makes raking "fun" again.  Not just for leaves, but great for leveling dirt, mulch, yard for leaves, dead grass, etc  and all that fun stuff in gardening.  Very durable and will last for years to come!

This is the best rake that I have ever owned - living in New England, we've owned a lot of gardening tools. This rake makes raking a smooth, effortless chore! I just ordered a backup. I love it! Fiskars, you outdid yourselves! Bravo!

Best Rake Ever

Great leaf rake with  a sturdy handle and metal tines.  The metal tines are great because the rake does not pick up dirt like plastic rakes do.  So far, it's been very good.

Great rake on tough leaves

Well built rake from a older design. The narrower steel tines will reach the smaller leaves that are a bit deeper in the lawn without damaging the grass. The right rake at the right price.

Super value

I ordered this rake after a hurricane because I couldn't find any in the stores .  I have since ordered a second one and will continue to purchase and use this rake in my bison's and at home .

Heavy duty

I bought this for my husband. He likes how sturdy the handle is, and he says it took no time at all to rake up all the wet leaves that were stuck to the cold, wet ground. 
He was happy to have it since his last rake fell apart after one use. This brand is functioning much better, is easy to use, and isn't cumbersome to hold.

Sturdy and reliable

Third scoop and it just snapped like the cheap piece of plastic it is. I am not happy at all now I have to go drive to a pool supply store to purchase another.
