I'm a professional gardenscaper. I have used these pruners 3 to 5 times a week for the past 4 years. I use them on nearly all of my plants because they are so versatile and they fit my slender hand perfectly. They aren't too heavy like some of the Plus pruners. After a couple years I needed to start grinding the blade. But even with that the blade holds up well. The only reason I'm replacing them is because the spring broke - my fault, poking at something that I should have just grabbed a different tool.

Perfect Gardening Addition

Nice size, nice cut.  Seems to lock quite often when using.  Have to keep unlocking. A little annoying.

Good size for my small hands. All is good except sometimes, the shears lock themselves during use.

I bought two pairs of these pruners, threw out the packaging and receipt, wrote on each of the handles with a permanent maker and when I go to use them, the blades stick together every time I prune something.  I have to push the button to get them to open again.

Do Not Buy These!

I just received these pruners and tried them out right away.   The first or second clip, they BIT my hand, creating a black and blue sore that hurt and almost started bleeding!   How in the world can I use them again since I don't trust them to not bite me again?   Very unhappy!

These pruners BIT ME!

Received pruners with no instructions. Supposed to be arthritis friendly. But no one, not even 3 different men, could even get the pruners to open for use. After reading other reviews, others stated they were unable to open the pruners. Or if they were able to open, they'd lock back up immediately and could never open again. Save your money. Worthless. This is the second pair of Fiskars that I've ordered this past year. The other pair had soft grip handles and slid off making it difficult to squeeze. After a few uses on small household plants, they won't cut. Only bend the stems. I'll never buy Fiskars again.

No one can open the pruners

Not really designed to fit a woman's hand. They lock themselves every time I use them. My mother in law used them and they locked on her. She kept handing them back to me to unlock. Poor design. 
So you cut, unlock, cut, unlock.

They self lock while using.
