Chop axe did not have the blade guard as pictured.    I called Walmart customer service and was   given Fiskars phone number.  I gave  Fiskars the model number and bar code number and was sent one about 3 days later.  Very happy with Fiskars .

MY SON SAYS IT'S PERFECT FOR CLEANING UP HIS GRANDMOTHERS BACKYARD.

JUST RIGHT

Good quality axe.  It has a good feel as you swing it, a very sharp edge and good weight for chopping.  The cover is a nice asset as well, protecting the blade from damage and protecting you from the sharp edge.  The handle seems tough and does not look like it will splinter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Chopping Axe (28") omg this is the best axe I very use. It cut down a tree that I been trying to get rid of. It very sharp so you how to put up away from kids. Great brand. Love how heavy duty it is. Just love it.

Fiskars

It is a very good Axe, I have one I've used for Years. Very disappointed the Axe was supposed to come with a Blade guard Liles my old one. It have only a throw away guard for shipping only. I would really like the Guard!

The seller was awesome 5 star rating for them, they were super fast with shipping and great to deal with.

My issue is with Fiskars. Fiskars makes junk, I bought a Fiskars Machete 2 days ago and it broke after 3 swings out on the trail.

I was only clearing tiny little branches smaller then my Pinky, this was an hour after I bought the Machete. No worry though Fiskars has a LIFETIME WARRANTY. 

So just right after it broke I submitted a warranty claim, and haven't heard anything back. 

This all was on the same day I ordered this Axe so this seller can process, payment, pull product from their inventory, create a shipping label, ship it a couple thousand miles, all in less time then it takes Fiskar to respond to an email.

QC issues happe sometimes good companies let a bad product slip through and that shouldn't be heald against them---------- 

IF THEY STAND BY THEIR PRDUCT AND FIX THEIR MISTAKE.

Fiskar is an awful company and ill never buy the garbage they produce again.

Really is a bummer I never got to try out this Axe I was excited about it.

I had thie 28" hoping axe given to me as a gift. And the handle by the head had broken a chunk out of it.and there warranty  will not cover it unless I send it back to them.
