Highly recommend. When first looking at these I said "oh boy, I made a mistake," but decided to give them a try. These anvil loppers are much more powerful than they look and cuts with ease. Too bad Fiskars doesn't make the same lopper for larger projects. I bought the larger ratchet drive loppers for $41 and wasted my money (change is not always better).

Light-weight, nice working length handles, and easy to use/not fatiguing. The cutting blade is metal. The rest of the tool is a composite material (some describe in their reviews as plastic). With the excellent mechanical advantage when cutting, user needs to be aware that the opposing jaw is not made of metal and not to get too over zealous in cutting branches too large in diameter for jaw opening. I cut shrub branches up to  1 1/2" in diameter without compromising the integrity of the tool. Anything branch/limb larger in diameter I would use a more robust cutting tool. (Always remember! The right tool for the right job) This tool works perfectly for my application in maintaining bushes/scrubs on a private residence. Hope this review helps!

Great Mechanical Advantage!

Very lightweight and it cuts perfectly. Anvil cutters sometimes crush the branch. This one cuts cleanly with its razor sharp blade. I drilled a 3/8" hole in the hand grip so I could hang it on my pegboard tool rack.

You could put it in your pocket

Small but powerful. The length and anvil cutting method just right. I like this lopper so much I'm ordering a second one for my son.

Superb lopper

They can cut bigger branches than I thought they could. Very light weight. Will have to see how long they last. Everything is plastic but the one side of the blade.

Lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works like a dream. Lives up to the reputation of Fiskars products. Sharper than any of my previous loppers.  The ability to set it to various widths allows the user to use less body strength to cut larger roots or branches. 
I'm a 73 year old woman and still can cut even 1" thick roots.

Fabulous! Easy for old lady to trim Hibiscus!

wonderful lightweight tool for performing light pruning , my son was able to cut 1 inch cedar branches , which i know are easy to cut, but he was 3 years old.    not to be used to cut hard wood that is overly big

I have had a pair of these trimmers for 2 years. My wife was always borrowing them so I purchased her a pair my daughter a pair and my granddaughter a pair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice light weight and easy to snip but caught a metal wire and took a chip out of the blade, I shouldn't be cutting wire but was surprised at the size of the chip it took out of the blade.
