We split alot of wood all wear long for our fires and this tool makes it so much easier and pain free. Our old log spilter was smaller and dull so it was taking twice as long to spilt the logs than it does with this tool. It's easy to use and not to heavy so I'm able to get in a few hours of wood splitting every few days.

Hiring professionals to remove old cement/etc, while easy, is expensive! I removed an old little section of my house to rebuild and wanted to do as much on my own as I could. As anyone would already know, that means removing and breaking up brick/block, you name it. This pick made it a million times easier. It's extremely well built and solid. No worry of the head flying off in the middle of a swing. The flat end is very sharp and breaks with ease. I also believe that the reverse, small end would work great for breaking ice out of water tanks/etc as I live in Minnesota and they love to freeze up 5 months out of the year! High quality, multi-purpose & works great? Just can't go wrong with that!

Pick-tastic!

I decided to use this instead of a shovel to see what if any differences there would be. I liked that the grip on it is comfortable when I swing. We couldn't pass up the opportunity for a real pick axe for these "mining obsessed" kiddos. We hung this as a prop on the wall for a Minecraft birthday party and an adult used it to smash open the stubborn creeper pinata!
