The loop cutter I found to be another go to tool. It feel I have a comfortable grip and it's well balance when in motion. Quality material and craftsmanship is spot on. I even have used it on cardboard which I had no issues with.

Though I haven't had the opportunity to cut through real thick fabric, it easily cut through two layers of t-shirt fabric. You have to press a button in for the blade to come out, and then press a smaller button for it to retract. It fits comfortably in my hand and is very lightweight. They seem very durable.

And if you do you can only buy one at a time and they're super expensive. So, if one has the money nowadays to afford this, then go for it. just remember to keep your fingers in the gaurd and all will be well. friskars does make good products, some you have to handle and use with care.
