It comes with three sturdy blades and a case to keep the two extra blades in when not in use. These blades are sharp and will need to be kept out of the reach of children. The blade lock on the knife pulls out and down easily to be able to quickly change blades. I used this knife and a project where I had to cut fabric and plastic and it handles well. I highly recommend this product.

Gets the job done

I was attempting wedding craft projects with scissors and this knife made it so much easier and faster. The precision that you can achieve with this sharp blade is wonderful. It comes with three blades: seam ripper blade, buttonhole blade and the straight standard #11 blade. Having three together makes it very versatile. It's easy to hold and with just a flip of the back of the knife you can quickly change the blade type. It comes with a cap for safety. The extra blades have a small case to keep them in. I look forward to more crafting with this tool.

Pretty Handy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fiskars brand means quality to me. I have been sewing since I was a child and remember my mother using Fiskars scissors - as do I today. I also own Fiskars garden tools. This versatile fabric knife is a great new sewing tool for me. Recently, I have been making masks and have used this tool a lot. I have not yet used the buttonhole blade but am sure it works as well as the other 2 blades. This has an ergonomic handle with a blade cap for safety; changing the blades is quick and easy; and the extra blades have a small case to keep them in. If you do a lot of sewing you will be happy to have this tool.

Good cutting tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW, a VERY unique design and favorable feel. Very well constructed. Easy to change blades with a secure method to keep harm from hands. Sure lock down on blade holder for peace of mind when cutting into thick material. Very impressed and know the unit will last a long time. What's makes this a tool great is the fact I can use different blades other than fabric blades, making it versatile for crafts and art projects. I cut heavy mat material and it held up without slipping, stayed straight to the pull. Good for cutting curves and circles because the grip is comfortable. All around great.

SIMPLY SHARP

It's got a safety guard to avoid cutting yourself. It comes with 3 interchangeable blades so you can choose the blade based on your activity. I really enjoyed using this fabric knife. Great for fabric

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knife is very sturdy and very comfortable in my hand. I loved the fact it was made with strong durable plastic; so it will not break easy. It was so simple to change the blades; by pulling the bottom, and bending it. This allows you to remove the blade. I was able to use the knife on various fabrics (cotton, linen, spandex, and more). It was so easy to cut through the fabric. The blades are small and very sharp. I would have given it 5 stars if there was a place on the knife to put the other blades for storage. This would help with not separating the blades from the knife. I will definitely tell my friends.

3 in 1 Durable Fabric Knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this product and the blade. It is sharp, cuts well, and is easy to use. I like that the cap is secured over the blade to protect children from getting hurt, however, this also hinders the product as well. While a secured cover is great, I found the force used to have to pull it off such a sharp blade a bit dangerous. In fact, I sliced my finger from merely removing the cap. So it's sort of a double edge sword, if you will - great for safety, but can also be dangerous. With that said, the blade is quite sharp and cuts through materials well. It even comes with additional blades you can switch as needed. The size is convenient as it is easy to store and convenient to use. It's also rather lightweight. I found the light weight combined with the thickness of the blade makes it easy to hold and use as well as provides a good grip. Overall a very nice product, just be careful when you use it.

Very sharp and works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very disappointed in this fabric knife. It comes with three blades, and it is supposed to be easy to change from one blade to the next. The handle has a really great feel to it, like it would be easy to hold and cut for a long time without cramping, and the blades are sharp and ready to use. However, only two of the three blades were easy to switch. The seam ripper just wouldn't go into the slot. The other two blades went easily, it was quick and felt safe to cchange, but the last blade wasn't going in no matter how I tried. I think that will lead to someone slicing their hand open expecting the blade to go in when it won't, and if one blade doesn't work from the start I just don't feel confident that it will hold up like it should. As a last note, I would have preferred that it come with something to hold the spare blades, like a compartment inside the knife itself or even just a little box that could click shut. I used the plastic box it came in but it's definitely not ideal. All in all I just can't recommend this knife set as the primary selling point is supposed to be easy blade switching and I did not find that to be the case.
