[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light but with an aggressive pick makes for easy work. It's excellent to reduce the amount of time bending over and adds safety when reaching near a partner running a saw.

Simple, Effective Sawyer Tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the tool to move firewood, both before and after splitting. It is helpful, and lightweight. I have to swing pretty hard to stick it well. Might try to sharpen it a little.

Using for firewood handling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buck trees on trails frequently. I purchased this Hookaroon after working with another sawyer who used one. It is amazing how much leverage this small tool provides. It makes moving cut wood easy for one person. I also am impressed how strong the plastic handle is. Fiskars did a good job with this tool.

Must have if you are doing anything with firewood. I wish I had it 20 years ago.

Good product, however the tip was dull and needed sharpening right out of the gate. Overpriced as well.

Bought this at the end of last summer. It worked great until the tip broke off. Aluminum is not the way to go with these apparently!!
