I love it! It's the perfect size to do small cuttings at my desk. I will only buy this brand. I have rotary cutting mats that fit the top of my dining room table, several medium sized ones in different rooms, but I never needed a smaller one. Now it's hard for me to walk to different rooms while I'm sewing or cutting quilt pieces. **** notice the little dots in between the inch marks. That's new, just noticed it. That will help.

Fiskars is my favorite cutting mat because of how its markings are easy to read.  The one minor negative isn’t enough to prevent me from buying this mat.  There are other brands which are thicker or nare more durable.  More expensive, difficult markings anf heavier so i buy Fiskars

Perfect for what I needed!

I needed a smaller mat and this size is perfect.  I have a bigger mat but I find myself reaching for this smaller one.  Like I absofreakinglutely love this thing.  It fits perfectly on my smaller sewing table.  I love how easy it is to use.  It’s perfect for projects where the pieces are smaller.

This cutting board is a good size as it can be used on either the dining table or the ironing board. It's very useful for cutting out patchwork pieces.

I needed a smaller cutting mat, I have the Fiskars extra large cutting mat that I had for years. Just needed a smaller version for a different table.

Good and thick, works great for cutting quilt pieces.

Very nice tool .  It protects my table when cutting and provides a nice flat surface for  crafting things like diamond art. Nice thickness.  Is 2 sided.   I use it so often that I store it under my table runner.  Love the easy to read measurements, and ease of cleaning.  Only con was it has an odor which while not over powering has  lingered.
Description said self healing and Iam unsure how that works.

Luxury quality cutting mat.

As described, protection of surface when cutting small items, not for items requiring woodworking bench (1 inch or thicker). Does slip from time to time if surfaced worked on is polished or very smooth, make sure you resolve using grip.

Only 1/16 of an 8m h thick, stiff, won’t last much since the “healing” depth isn’t much…took a chance. Will keep because I hate going in store to return stuff.

I bought my mat in store and haven’t used it much over the past year because I’ve been so busy. I finally made some time for myself so I could get back into quilting again as I truly enjoy it. It’s a stress reliever to complete projects and use the items I’ve made. I had to replace my previous mat as it was misplaced at some point during my last move. I bought this one because Fiskars is a reputable brand. I am beyond disappointed with this mat. I plan to write Fiskars about this issue as I would hate for it to happen to anyone else. Self Healing yeah right! I just gouged my table up after my rotary blade cut right through this so called  “Self-Healing Mat”. My fabric pulls and doesn’t stay put under my squares and won’t cut correctly. I wasn’t cutting hard enough that I should have been able to cut right through this mat. How is it possible that the blade cut through this mat but didn’t cut all the way through the fabric? The fact that I was able to cut through tells me the material this mat is made from is already breaking down.
