I purchased the fit and fresh kids hot container due to the "Fit and Fresh" brand and reputation. I hoped it would be ideal for my needs. My needs were simple, I wanted to cook my omelet and take it to work without warming it in the microwave. I live 5 minutes from work, so thought surely the container would be perfect. 

Well, sadly, the omelet was somewhat warm, and I would say the elapsed time of placing the omelet in the container to the time I ate it was about 30 minutes. So, it is definitely not remotely close to an hour to keep food warm.

I would not recommend the container if you expect the food to warm/hot longer than an hour. You will be sorely disappointed.

Good lunch box for kids

This product does not keep anything warm for any length of time, It also leaks, so forget about hot soup.  I bought two of these containers hoping to keep my daughters lunch warm.  I am very disappointed.  In all honesty you might as well use a regular Tupperware container.
