Grip Comfort

Overall pleased with purchase! Simple to use and space efficient

walmart.com

These dumbbells are very versatile because they range from 5 to 52.5 lbs. when you compare to others you'll find that some have less weight variations. I found these to be the best bang for the buck.

Best bang for the buck

Overall these work quite well. It was quite different to change weight when I first got them. I removed the handle and lubricated the mechanisms - has worked well ever since. You must ensure handle is full engaged to change weight.

check the length of your hands. handle is about 1/4 thicker around then my previous dumbell this could cause lessened grip especially with increased weight. otherwise solid product

Great way to economically acquire multiple dumbbell weights, but the mechanism can be burdensome - sometimes the strongest person in the house was not able to turn the handle to change the weights at all. The plates tend to shift position in the base making it a guessing puzzle as to how to be able to put the dumbbell back in to store/change weight. The company should have the plates labeled to match up with what slot they go in on the base.

A decent alternative to a full set of dumbbells

Definitely a space saver. Great for leg workouts. Unfortunately the ends are so bulky. You cannot perform overhead presses, chest presses, upright, rows, etc.. with good form- these not suitable for arm /upper body workouts.

If you're planning on using them 40lbs or above get ready to wrestle the base to get them back in the remaining weights shift into the wrong places making half my work out trying to get them back in. At this point I should just buy a gym membership.

More like weight wrestling

Plastic part immediately broke . Not reliable . I could change weight or lock it
good idea but poor materials.

Some of these had a recall
".The weight plates can dislodge from the handle, posing an impact and injury hazard."

Plastic breaks - not worth it

I purchased this 2 months ago and it worked pretty well. But, the metal piece located on the dock that allows the weights to be adjusted has snapped off and rendered the entire thing useless.

Disappointed.

FitRx SmartBell, Quick Select Adjustable Weight Du adjustable dumbbell with quick-select weight selector and compact stacked-plate housing around a central handle, front-facing studio view on a neutral background, suitable for home gym strength training and small-space workouts.
