I needed a power rack due to COVID-19, as I no longer want to go to the gym. This rack & bench is excellent for the price. Very sturdy, it doesn't creak or wobble, even when loaded with weight or doing fast pull-ups. The benefit of having a power cage like this is to add accessories; so far I've added the dip-press attachment, weight storage bars, and I'm looking to add the pull-down cable mod. Salute to the designers!

Great design, super sturdy, awesome price!

The rack and the bench both have an 800 pound capacity, and the bar has a few hundred pound capacity. I would recommend this deal to anyone interested in working out. It is very sturdy and of high quality. I love this purchase, and am very satisfied with it.

Exceptional Deal/ Great Quality

Great price for the bundle, holds up strong and does what you need. Decent amount of optional 2x2 accessories if you want. Recommended to get different J-hooks as these stock are pretty bad. If you're an average user looking to build a home gym as I was, this is highly recommended.

Great bundle for a home gym

This is a really solid power cage that works very well. Fits great in my condo, feels sturdy, and for the price I couldn't really ask for much more. It's to be expected that the pegs that hold the barbell aren't as great as j-cups. It even comes with an adjustable weight bench that can be used for incline bench press! Assembly is a bit of a pain since you have to put everything together yourself, and because I left my tools at the cottage, I had to use the provided "wrenches" (more like a flat piece of metal with holes in it). They were rather uncomfortable to hold, so unless you have a ratchet or something similar, be prepared to have your work cut out for you. 

Still, and I can't emphasize this enough, for the price there's really nothing I can complain about. Buy it and happy squatting/benching/pressing.

Great Value, Even Includes Bench!

For the money, you can't go wrong!

I've been doing some heavy lifting in this rack and not only has it hardly moved but I feel very safe inside. 
The only major downside is the metal j-cups and spotter arms can scratch up the barbell since it's metal on metal. However, you can can easily fix that with some gorilla tape or even a towel.

100% recommend!

I was slightly skeptical about quality, when ordering the rank/bench combo, because i couldn't believe how cheap this combo was. After reading positive reviews, prior to ordering, I went ahead with the order, and so glad I did! I am a competitive powerlifter and really have no complaints, especially for the price. For squats, I would perhaps recommend ordering an alternate pair of J hooks, as the ones it comes with, don't make for a super smooth unracking, but this is a pretty minor inconvenience.

Great quality for the price

Loving it, great rack with good safety features.  I'm sure there are better racks out there, but nothing can beat the price of this combo.  I appreciate that Walmart makes it affordable during the pandemic, not like some other retail stores just jack up the prices for more profits.  Never gonna go back to gym again, will do all my exercises at home!

The best budget rack you can get for your home gym

Easy to install. Solid. The bench had a defective part but there were instructions to email them if you need replacement. They responded to email within 1 day.

Good cage and bench

The power rack and bench is definitely worth the price if it is your first rack and you aren't looking to spend a lot of money. I've had no issues with it holding the weight I've put on it, but I haven't tried anything more than 300 lbs at this point. The paint chips and scratches easily, but it's nothing crazy. It does shake and wobble if you really throw the weight onto it, but I have no fears that it will tip over. Only issue with the bench is that the seat doesn't angle up very high, so it's not super comfortable doing incline bench work. All in all a fairly solid product.

An excellent first rack

Although it works well, having the 2 bars in the back (for more stability) is a bit annoying. The bottom bar would be way better directly on the ground. It wouldn't be in the way when you use the bench. In the same way, the upper stability bar is quite on the way when you decide to do squat inside the cage facing the back of the cage (where my mirrors are). When I sit my  bar back on the supports, my head gets squeezed between it ( olympic bar with weights), and this stability bar. These 2 stability bars should be completely on the ground and completely to the top.
