Assembly

Bought them couple weeks ago and kit had everything as promised, I did have to lower the clip settings on them to get the truck leveled the way I like it. Drivers side is on slot 5 and passenger side is on slot 4.so I really liked how these are adjustable.  Already went off roading and it felt way better then the stock shocks.

I had these installed a month ago and have a love/hate with the blocks.  Unloaded, I could not be happier, love it.  The Tacoma almost sits level.   The problem with my lift is that I have the front's all the way up to 3” - when the truck is loaded with camping gear, it sags.  I even upgraded the rear shocks to 5100's......  I got firewood last week and it was looking awful.  I would not recommend this kit if you have a full steel bumper, swing out, camper, rtt, etc.    I did ask the shop for AAL's, but they said that there is no need.    I called the shop back and I am either going to do AAL's or just put in a leaf pack.   I am running 295/70/17 with minimal rub.   I have not done any cutting, trimming and CAB chop.   I wheeled all weekend on mildly aggressive rutted, muddy trails and it performed as expected.

Good lift for the money

I gave this kit a 4 star because the front ended up 1/2” higher than the rear after installed and settled. 6112's don't settle much at all... i spent extra money to get the notch lowered down to 4th notch to get slight rake. I think 5th notch would give you level... I like the raked look. Paired with the SPC upper control arms, it's a great setup. Like I said the only thing I didn't like was front ended up higher than rear when installed out of the box. Other than that I like the ride quality...

Good kit!

I have had it on my 2017 Tacoma for a year now and am very happy with it. Unfortunately truck was just totaled in a near head on collision/rollover. I will be purchasing it again for my new truck.

Perfect stance

I try to install this kit yesterday. I have to stop and look it up online how to install it missing lots of instructions.  One u bolt for tread is worn out I have to re tread it. After installation truck half inch higher in front.

Not enough info for installation

Terrible ride. To stiff up front   Back end sits lower than front. Gonna have to make some adjustments

I installed this kit several weeks ago. I installed the fronts as they came at the highest setting. Install was very easy and I also replaced the rears shocks with the Bilstein 5100's. I love the look and it sits perfectly level but I am already thing of losing the leveld look to make up for poor ride quality. Anytime you go over and bumps in the road or especially a speed bump it is scary bad! I would really like a response to know how to elevate this. What setting does it need to go down to for a bit more comfortable ride?

I have a 2020 Tacoma SR5 4x4 (6-lug).  These front Bilstein struts come preset at max height and ride STIFF.  Installed them June 2022.  Jan 2023 my headlights and grille both have broken mounts due to the STIFF ride.  Upper control arm has no travel and is a severe down angle.

ROUGH RIDE

Beyond stiff front suspension. Terrible on bumps on and off road.  I'm sorry I put them on.  It's been 3 months and it's tearing up my truck
