Great Hitch

Hitch fit perfectly on a 07 Toy. Rav4 ,had required hardware too. Called D-T twice with questions-their customer service was outstanding! HINT:use a jack or get a helper and you do not have to take off muffler bracket though helpful. Had to use oil on bolts..frame threads a bit rusty.   Shipping a different story..7-inch long gash to bare metal on the hitch..sprayed several coats of paint before installing. One missed arrival time.

Amazing packaging. The product was completely contained within the shipping box. Nice and solid. All parts included. All I needed to get was a ratchet, and a torque wrench. You'll also need some soapy water spray and a screw driver for the exhaust rubber hanger. Installation took about an hour.

Exactly as advertised.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The "typical" installation time of 20 minutes must be for someone with a lift and an extra hand while placing the bolts and threading them into the frame. My "custom" installation time was closer to two hours working by myself on my driveway. Having said that, the hitch is extremely well designed and fits like a glove. A few suggestions: 1) you don't have to remove the muffler bracket. You can slide the hitch up above the muffler. Once you have the hitch resting on the muffler on one side you can lift the other side of the hitch into place and bolt it on. 2) don't discard the weather protection cover that you have to remove to mount the hitch. You can reinstall the cover after making some very modest trims. and 3) be certain to use a torque wrench to tighted the hitch bolts. I cranked the bolts down a far as I could and then grabbed the torque wrench. The bolts turned another full turn and a quarter before I hit the 75 pounds of torque that is recommended. This is a safety issue. If you don't have a torque wrench, borrow one, buy one or have the hitch professionally installed. Call me -- I charge $95/hour for this job. :)

Exactly what was pictured and what I ordered. The only negative was that the box was opened which scratched part of the hitch.

What I expected but slight shipping damage

Cons- very poorly packaged with just plastic rapings that are torn on all corners and hitch receiver, cauing all corners to be all scratched up. just installed will have to see how well it holds up on RV trailer weight.
