Sturdiness

I love this bag. I've used it as my daily work bag to carry my laptop, overnight bag for short trips, and adventure bag (for hikes with my shiba). It does seem to attract my dog's fur, but it's not super noticeable. The side pockets aren't really big enough to hold most water bottles because they're flat pockets, but they work well for quick access items like sunglasses and snacks. I've been using it consistently for 6 months now and the color hasn't faded at all. I only wish they made other items with the same deep purple color.

I have been a Kanken fan for a few years but always had trouble keeping the canvas version clean. I LOVE the Re-Kanken material, it's so easy to clean with a lint roller. I think the size of the classic is perfect. I'm smaller and larger backpacks and straps hurt my back. I can fit my work laptop, A4 size planner, journal, Kindle, hydro flask bottle and cosmetic pouch in the top compartment, and card holder, pens, phone charger, lip balm in the bottom pouch. Love the deep side pocket for easy access to my phone. I've tried a few other backpacks over the years but always quickly return to my Re-Kanken!

Best backpack ever

Okay when I got it in the mail I saw the size and was like this is to small, but I was so wrong this size is perfect for school and helps you not to over pack and helps you stay clean and organized. I love this bag so much and still looks like new, it maches with everything too.I want another one because they're just that good love re-kånken backpacks💗💗

i've had this bag for 5 years now and it's still in pristine shape. it's the perfect school bag and fits more than expected. once i'm not in school, i can see myself using it for short trips and camping since it's so versatile. the re-kanken is such high quality and i intend to use it for many years to come.

I've had this bag for over a year now and it has aged perfectly. I love everything from the design to the size. It's the perfect bag for everyday use, hiking, etc. The only thing to be weary of is that the recycled polyester material can sometimes get linty if that bothers you, but when it does I just use a lint roller. Highly recommend.

Favorite Bag

I love my new Re-Kanken in Spring green! The colors is bright and beautiful. The fabric is lightweight and heavy-duty. The main pocket fully unzips for easy access. The square shape of the bag makes it so easy to fill it with tons of good stuff. I do wish the front pocket was more easily accessible, and that the side pockets were a little bigger, but these minor details are very easy to live with.

I would happily, and probably will, buy another one of these backpacks in a heartbeat.

Money Well Spent

Love it! even better than my regular kanken. Feeling stronger. And the fact that is made by recycled plastic just melts my heart!

conscious love!

I think the bag is awesome, it fits a lot of my thighs, is good looking and comfortable to wear. The o my thing I'd add is that I really need a bigger side pocket for my water bottle. I carry it everywhere and I need easy access to it.

One little thing

I got the recycled one. I take it many places. Durable. I like how it came with swedish fish.

So far so good.

I've had a laptop Kanken for a while which I love, but it's bright orange. I brought a grey re-kanken as a toned down version for work. This is no where near as good as the original. The material is stiff and quite noisy when walking around with pack on. It just feels low quality too compared with my other one. It also has less features than my other pack. My first one has useful pockets inside and is nicely lined. The re-kanken doesn't have any of this. If the sustainability credentials are important to you then re-kanken is an acceptable back pack. If you're not too bothered about green credentials the original is much better!!
