In desperation, I bought quick rise yeast in the early days of the pandemic when traditional yeast was nowhere to be found.  None of the things I like to make regularly -- sandwich loaves, pita, naan, dough for pizza -- came out the same, although the New York Times artisan bread was fine.  I was beginning to think I was losing my touch until, on a whim, I set the quick rise yeast aside and bought this as I had many times before. Voilà!  Everything I've done since is easy to make and a pleasure to bake.

This one

This is the only yeast I will buy. Use to buy the bread machine yeast by them when
I had a a bread machine but now use a Kitchenaid machine so I switched to the
Traditional Yeast and it works just great. Fleischmann's has a very long expiry date, is sealed well and dark glass helps keep the yeast fresher. Never a problem with
Fleischmann's Yeast.

Fleischmann's Yeast is the only one for me

I have been using this product for over fifty years.  I make our own bread in a bread machine now since having medical problems but Fleishmann"s keeps that good old fashioned flavour we enjoy. A good quality product.

Fleischmann's never fails. I had nice puffy dough to bake big fluffy loaves. Always fresh, always works!

Easier to use when making a larger recipe - just open the jar instead of having to tear open 2-3 little individual packs!

Fleischmann's Traditional Yeast jar

This dry yeast comes in an air tight jar with an expiration date clearly marked. Typically this date is over a year and a half from the time it's received. This is a great product and I use it in various bread recipes weekly.
