After installing roof anchors for fall protection, needed while installing hurricane-protective home window covers, I used Flexseal to re-seal the roof at the roof anchors.  The Flexseal was also effective at hiding the brightly-colored roof anchors, coating them the same color as the adjacent roof shingles, which are charcoal/black in color.  The initial liquid consistency of the Flexseal seeps into and around the  screw-down holdings of the anchors, then dries to provide an excellent seal to the roof around the roof anchors.

We used it to cover minor cracks in our wave runners  Held up well for a few days, so we'll see how the rest of the summer goes.

Waterproofed a watercraft

Whn I ordered Flex Seal I had high hopes to fix a leak in my swim spa. I emptied the water out, cleaned the area and applied the Flex Seal tape over the crack with 2 1/2" edges refilled the swim spa and STILL had the leak. purchased the spray Flex Seal, emptied the swim spa cleaned area well, sprayed 3 coats of the Flex Seal spray to the leaking area (on top and underneath). Filled the swim spa back up and it was as if I had not done anything. As far as being water proof this product is not. The tape is very difficult to use, hard time getting the clear plastic cover off the tape.

I sprayed the back of a cat litter catching mat after realizing it wasn't waterproof. Over a month after using it, the spray is still sticky rendering the mat useless. Thank goodness I didnt put it down on the floor or I would be really upset. Unfortunately I wasted money on a new mat to spray, and the spray itself.

Won't dry

The product does not do what they advertise.  Maybe the solid does, but not the spray.  I used four cans around a skylight and it still leaked.  Not as bad, but still leaked.  I called a roofer and he resealed it.  I found that the liquid ruins and it is too thin in most cases.

Under performs.

It's white as labeled and it's liquid as the label says but as a rubber sealant it is not. It's also messy and runs. It didn't work for me unfortunately.

I purchased this because I had a plastic pet drinking fountain that had a mystery leak that was increasing. Besides inspecting it myself, I enlisted the help of 3 friends. Not one of us could locate the leak, though it was clearly evident it was leaking! I thought well, I guess I will try FlexSeal and just spray the entire bottom of the fountain and hope it holds...Best. Decision. Ever.

Mystery Leak Solved with Flexseal!

I received old product that seemed to be laying around in a warehouse somewhere. I ordered several colors and all of the colors were old. Some had damaged lids. I was very unhappy with my purchase. The colors did not seem vibrant when I attempted to use them.  I shook the cans for about 15 minutes at some point and still had the same result.   Very disappointed.
