First up, the packaging is nice, quite a masculine look and almost felt like male shaving equipment. The unit itself is of a similar style, if you didn't know what it was you wouldn't know.

The silicone when you take the cap off has a very sticky feel to it, which is a bit weird to be honest. I can see it being a cat hair magnet which is a nuisance, keep it covered at all times until use.

I realised as I was using it that I clearly tighten my grip when I use my hand, as I was gripping tighter and tighter on the unit but then realised I was getting frustrated that it wasn't getting tighter on me. So that was an interesting realisation!

But I did finish and did enjoy it once I got over that frustration and appreciated it for being different. My OH was playing with her new toy next to me and I still finished first if that tells you anything!

There's a cap at the end for cleaning, I found that putting it on or off increased or decreased the air pressure in the chamber, which helped with the sensation of tightening. If I was to get another in future I'd look for one where you could adjust that as a feature.

All in all, happy with it, would use again, but its not quite like “the real thing”.
