Works as expected (well) over a low-nap carpet. This polycarb mat allows my desk chair to roll smoothly without getting stuck in wheel dimples. Expensive but worth the price. And, delivery was faster than promised.

Polycarbonate material is what we wanted to avoid chair wheels from making dents on the mat.  Dimples underneath keep the mat in place over carpet.  Only downside is unpacking.  I thought it would ship in a flat box, not coiled in a square box.  A bit dangerous when unstrapping as it uncoils rather rapidly even with the "danger" upacking warning on the box.

Woud buy again

This mat lays down flat immediately, which is a huge bonus.  The color is also superior, as it blends much more nicely on top of carpet than many substantial floor mats.  In addition, the price made it affordable to buy two for both offices in our home.

Superior Floor Mat

These mats are very durable. You pay a little more than the cheap ones at the stores but it's worth it. My last one lasted 5 years instead of 1 or 2. Saves the carpet in my living room too.

Perfect size to fit under our desk and allow enough space to move office chair in and out without getting on the carpet

Great size

I measured my carpeting pile height according to the manufacturer's instructions. This is to confirm the correct thickness of the mat as well as the length of the underside spikes to anchor the mat.  Unfortunately, the mat tends to drift over time which tells me the spikes are not keeping the mat in place. It's a minor annoyance but something to keep in mind if you are placing this mat on carpeting.  Otherwise, a much better product than straight plastic.

Measure carpeting for correct may thickness

This item looked rather lightweight compared my previous one. I have only had it for a week and it seems fine. The real test will be to see how long it will last before it starts cracking where the chair wheels are constantly putting weight on it.
