I had it shipped to store & was surprised it came in such a large box. I believe that is why it was hardly curled when I took it out of the box. It flattened in just a few days. It is spacious & made of a durable material. Does not slide around on my laminate floor. I am extremely happy with the quality of this product, which was at a price that couldn't be beat!

I bought this item to put under the computer chair to protect my hardwood floor, and it's fine. It remains flat on the floor and well in place. Just a good thickness and no folds in the center like any other model. Easy to clean, it does its job well.

Very perfect

We bought two of these to put on top of a laminate floor. After reading reviews on several different mats we decided to "take a chance" on this one. They arrived rolled up in two separate boxes. Although they were a little difficult to unroll and lay flat on the floor they completely flattened out by the next morning. They had no unpleasant scent. The quality appears to be very good.

A great chocie for a chair mat.

We just put laminate flooring down in our study and my husband was worried that our office chair would chew it up. I looked at a few places and the mat that l bought from walmart was by far the most resonably priced. It came in a huge box and was curled when we took it out but it laid flat quite quickly. The mat does not move when l wheel my chair around , we found that when we pushed the small part of the mat into the well of our desk it would not fit, so my husband just lifted the desk a bit and slid it under the legs. Voila the mat is stationary! There is no smell from my mat as was reported by other reviews, trust me if it had a smell l would know it! Very happy with the product and would buy it again.

Exactly what l was looking for

I bought 3 of these for our office (hardwood/Laminate flooring). These work as intended, but are a bit slippery and you have to be careful stepping on them at times as they slide on the floor if there is no real weight on them. Its mainly because the bottom side is just smooth and slides easily.

I do like the larger size of these mats compared to the standard 36x48 inch mats.

Good quality Mat

I just bought this floor mat and I am happy. It stays where I put it. My chair rolls nicely on it. And off of it too. It is 75% clear in color and seems to blend well with the floor coloring underneath. Delivery was good and arrived in excellent shape.

Good item

The mat itself is fine. It definitely solved my problem of rolling into the crevices of my porcelin tile floor. However, whoever packaged the mat needs some training. The instructions said unroll and allow to lie flat for 72 hours. That's all fine and good HAD THE MAT BEEN ROLLED UP. It was not, it was rolled up into about 3 sets of rolls rather than one big one. So, the chances of this mat being flat to the floor as it's suppose to be will take much, much longer than any 72 hours. More like 72 days!! Because of the way it was rolled up, it has several bumps and dips in it. If it ever lies completely flat, I'll be surprised.

Chair Mat

We ended up putting the wrong (bumpy) side down because it seemed to grip the floor better. The smooth side almost had us on the floor it slid so fast when you stepped on it.

ALSO, very poor service from the wal-mart.com folk. Got run around on the phone and when we went to pick up the item. Took forever... Amazon next time...

protects the floor great... but it slides around!

I was really looking forward to getting these floor mats for our office. However, when they arrived on our doorstep in giant boxes and we removed them, they were a thick hard plastic that didn't flatten out. We tried for days to get the plastic to relax and stay straight on the floor, even putting books on the different corners....with no luck. I'm going to be returning them this weekend. I was really surprised because previous comments were all positive. This just did not work for us at all.

They were absolutely awful and I returned them.

This item came in a fairly larger box then expected. When opened it was sort of folded in two or three places and bent slightly at the ends. im not sure if this had been purchased before and returned and just reboxed. Anyway, got it home and laid it on the flat floor with some items at all ends. To a certain degree it flattened out, but after a week, the kinks from where it was folded were still noticeable and not sitting flat on the floor. I figured if after a week it didnt totally flaten out and if all the creases didnt disappear, it was going to happen. Also, I found this material to be a little to hard and that caused it to slide around on the floor itself. I dont recommend this product unless some if it will be anchored for instance by the desk and if it isnt totally flat, which I admit may have only been the one I received had it been returned and incorrectly reboxed.
