This is a very nice chair mat. Very sturdy. It arrived in a not-so-tight roll, not flat, but the instructions warned to be careful of it "popping open" when you got to the last round of plastic wrap that kept it circular, and it snapped straight immediately! It was straight the minute I laid it on the floor. I weight 240lbs, so I was concerned about potential wheels sinking into the mat and whatnot. That is not the case at all. It looks and feels like my chair is on a thick sheet of glass.

Sturdy and attractive, highly recommend!
