I selected this paint to eliminate the red undertones that reappeared after sanding a headboard and footboard; it was an excellent selection. The coverage required 1 1/2 containers for both pieces. The final color was a perfect brown shade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't been able to get Waverly Truffle chalk paint so I ordered the Folk Art Java. It is not an exact match, but is a nice rich brown that works well with good coverage.

Rich brown color

This is the deepest, dark brown I've seen in chalk paint.  This is great to paint your Styrofoam in any floral arrangements because it looks like dark dirt.

Love it

I was skeptical of this paint as I am used to some of the more expensive designer paints that are $24 for 8 ounces. I took a chance and I am glad I did. The color is rich and the coverage is amazing. It was easy to blend with other colors to make a faux wood look. I will buy more colors in this brand.

This is one of the best chalk paint brands I've used. Usually one coat will do.

It took a very long time to get to me and it was the wrong color. It has been a huge wast of my time and money. I am very disappointed.
