This was the exact part my 1999 Ford Explorer Sport 4.0 sohc needed.
Having hard start, rough idle.  Part located under battery box, looked like had never been changed. Worked perfectly.  Just be careful removing part, one of the hose connectors is a special part easy to break. If you are getting code for vapor leak this might be the issue.
