These are perfect for trunks and college life. The bad thing is the code is stuck to the back of the lock and it is hard to peel off but write it down or commit to memory, then peel and scratch off the back.

So there are many things I like about these - you get 2 of them (value is solid), they're well enough made (not impenetrable, but don't need to be, they're sturdy enough), it's the classic Master Lock you know, and this one says "Fortress" on it, which makes it easy to remember which locker is mine at the gym (most Master locks don't say Fortress, so this one is unique that way).

Downsides - it's not cool looking, fancy, and at first the mechanism was stiff until I used it a few times. You can't change the combination either. And the combination you're assigned might be all ugly and gross numbers you don't want to remember.

Unique, effective, good value

Actually, this lock really gets a negative five star but due to the fact that I can't submit a review with no stars, I put one star so it can be posted. Beware! This item is labeled Master Lock but it is not the same as Masterlock even though it appears under Masterlock combination search. It is a cheap Chinese knockoff and does not work properly. I am not happy with this sort of advertising on Jet.com? It is deceptive of jet.com to sell a badly made item as such. I bought it for a back up for when my current Masterlock malfunctioned, which it did now and upon opening it couple months from when I received it, I find them to be not usable and , it seems now, not returnable.
