I got them for milestones for my hubby, son and 2 stepsons now! I really want to get another one for my nephew's 21st birthday but the price went up $60 in a week! If it goes on sale soon I'll get a 5th! Very beautiful engraved watch! I hope they continue making them until my grandson is 18!

This timepiece has all the bells and whistle. There was a time not too long ago when I wandered aimlessly down the city streets; no direction, not knowing the time. I would have chilling nightmares, afraid that some stranger may come up and ask "excuse me sir, do you have the time?" It kept me up at night like indegestian. But then I found the Nate Chronograph. Sophisticated beyond reproach, elegant beyond a toga, oh so satisfying on the wrist, you just know that this watch voted Republican and isn't even sorry about it. I have been asked 3 times already what time it is, and this watch has handled the situation flawlessly like a feather falling onto the still surface of a pond. I'll rest easily now knowing that when the robot uprising finally happens I'll be able to tell the historians at what time exactly it occurred.

Perfection, travel sized

My husband absolutely loves this watch. The face is larger than a normal watch, which is what I was looking for, but if you aren't into that you won't like this one. The free personalized engraving was a very nice added touch that really made this a special gift. My husband and I both have several Fossil watches, and we've never been disappointed with the look or the quality of any of them. This was my first time purchasing one on-line since there used to be a store in our area. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the watch arrived, even with the personalized engraving. I would definitely recommend this product and this company.

Great Piece

My wife purchased this watch for me as a birthday present and, while she was concerned that the face was too large, I've been very happy with it. The numbers are large and the hands contrast well with the face, making the time easy to tell with just a quick glance. The band is made of thick, durable leather (which is great for me, since I tend to wear out my watch bands quickly) and I've had several opportunities to use the time functions. I have a lot of faith that this watch will survive anything that I throw at it and that I'll be able to rely on it for years to come.

Fantastic watch

I've been looking for my boyfriend's birthday present and i finally i bought this watch 7 days ago for my boyfriend's birthday. He loves it so much! Even his friends and her mom adore this watch a lot! Basically, his style is kinda sporty and casual as his age (20 years old). This watch is very suit for every occasion and the leather looks so classy, the longer you use it, the brown leather will be more brown. This watch is definitely recommended for gift!

casual yet vintage

My wife purchased an Invicta Diver's watch for my birthday last year. This year my daughter purchased the Fossil Nate Model JR1436. Wow! It blows the Invicta out of the water. It's Analog with huge numbers that I can see without my glasses. I love it!

Finally, a watch I can see the time on.

I actually stopped wearing watches for a number of years. But previously I had 3 Fossil watches. So when I decided to get back into daily watches I decided to go back to what I like and know and thats Fossil! I immediately liked the Nate Collection of watches and the the larger watch face. The black on black is nice and stands out a lot, only thing I would have like would have been reflective hands that glow for at night and in the dark not the entire watch but just the hands would have been great. But the watch is awesome feels great and looks great.

I bought this watch for my husband for our anniversary as one of his gifts. I loved the look, loved the all black. I loved that I could get this watch engraved. The only drawback regarding this watch is that, the watch is all black, so when it gets dark outside or you are in a dark place, you have no way of telling what time it is until you get into some light. There should definitely be a feature on this watch that makes at least the number light up.

This watch was an anniversary gift to me from my girlfriend. I love this watch. She must have been reading my mind because I was going to purchase this watch. No complaints at all this my fifth Fossil watch...and counting.

Gift from Girlfriend

I bought this watch for my husband for Father's day and two months later it has completely fallen apart. I even had it engraved. The wrist is stiff. The buckle crumbles to pieces. The little rings around the smaller faces inside the watch fell off. The watch hands don't move anymore. He can't wear it. He can't even just have it in my pocket to tell the time. So cheap. Trash. I might try Timex.
