My nephew broke his last hoop playing with it so much so I told him I'd buy him a new one. We searched and decided on this one. We made the perfect choice. This is quality made. Looks great. It's still hanging in there too! Will buy again

Took down our sklz one and bought this as a replacement because the sklz hoop we bought on amazon was too loud and the ball was too hard. I wanted to get a mini over the door hoop that wouldn't make a racket everytime used because I frequently work from a home office and I'm on the phone a lot. Much to my liking this hoop comes with a solid foam backing which is almost 2 inches thick to absorb the impact of the ball hitting up against our door. This minimizes the sound and also we haven't had any paint chipping happen which we did with our last two from. Also, another takeaway for this purchase would be that the backboard is pretty cool because has plexy feel so you can not worry about the occasional slam to the hole! Definitely recommend!

While the backboard may be shatter proof, the hoop ended up bending and now my child has used a massive amount of duck tape to hold it up.
