[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Freeman PFS9 9-Guage Pneumatic Fencing Stapler comes in a nice sturdy carrying case that I was impressed with. The whole case and stapler weights about 15lbs and is easy to carry around. No assembly is required and its pretty much ready to go. The contents in the box include the Fencing stapler, Carrying case, Adjustment tools, Lubricating Oil, Safety goggles and a 12 page instruction manual. Actually its 21 pages in 2 languages. If you have used any kind of nail gun its pretty much the same. Some important items that might seem obvious to some or important to others include: 1) you can use the Freeman 9 Gauge Fencing staples or a generic brand. Whatever your preference is. 2) This is not a battery operated stapler, its pneumatic so a gas compressor which is preferable or electric is required. The pressure range required is between 70 psi and 115 psi. 3) The magazine capacity is 50 fasteners using 9 gauge staples. 

Other features of this model include a 360 degree adjustable exhaust which allows user to direct air away from your face. One Piece driver blade for increased durability. An anodized aluminum cylinder and magazine for long lasting durability. Comfort grip handle for increased comfort and control. Ergonomically engineered body which is rugged and comfortable resulting in a lightweight tool great for extended use. This model has an Adjustable depth feature. You can adjust the depth for different types of applications. The instructions explain more in detail how this feature works. Also this model has a quick jam release which allows for easy access clearing in the event of a jam. This model seems to have very infrequent jams which saves quite a lot of time. The speed at which you can put up a fence with this stapler is quite nice.
Adjusting the exhaust, Loading fasteners and unloading them seem to be quite simple and easy to do. The stapler is well built and has a seven year warranty. 
Finally I would recommend looking at all of the videos about this model online which show how fast people are putting up there fences and how easy this is to use. You tube is an excellent place to find them. You can see how well this machine functions better than I can explain it. Overall I would highly recommend this device especially for the price charged here. A definite buy. Good luck with your next fencing project.

Wow does this save time!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now that spring is here, so are the projects. Made alot simpler with the Freeman Pneumatic stapler. Considered a nailer, chose the staple gun instead. Makes chores and projects go super fast. Have a fence to mend due to a neighbor mishap, but this will breeze thru things. Got a new rabbit hutch completed so they have a place in the sunny areas. Basically, this shows if you have a day, projects can be completed quickly. Works really well. Manual and instructions are clear and concise. Know I (and my PFS-9) will always be on-call.

Freeman Stapler To The Rescue

The Freeman line of Pneumatic Fencing Staplers is offered as a low-cost option for quality Fencing Staplers. The ‘established' line of staplers consisting of those offered by other manufacturers more closely approaches a pricing point of $1,000.00! Wow. This Freeman Model is less than half this!

The Freeman PFS9 accepts 1 3/4” and 2” staples. Both were tested. It ships in a sturdy plastic case, as do many quality pneumatic nailers and staplers.

I am familiar with pneumatic staplers and framing nailers and own both; but I've never had the pleasure of using a fencing stapler until today. Pneumatic nailers make life so much easier when you have a sizable project to finish.

Freeman sent both 2” and 1 3/4” staplers for review with this product. I picked a scrap piece of 4” x 4” pressure treated post and cut some barbed wire sections to test nailing into it to simulate attaching barbed wire onto a fence post.

The stapler worked great! All staples entered the post at desired depth and firmly held the barbed wire in place. While I did not actually hang any fence in this review, this Freeman stapler will do the job of hanging barbed wire, field fence, or other just fine and will make the job far easier than slamming fence staples with a hammer. And you won't hit your thumb with the hammer!

This is a fantastic product - I give it ***** (5) stars.

Freemen fencing stapler - go hang some fence!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect item, for the rancher, farmer, and experienced handing ma. This stapler, though not heavy, is well balanced, and very steady while shooting the barbs.
It does need a compressed air tank, which can be ordered on line or at a store which sells theses. 
The barbs also can be purchased the same mode as well. 
The stapler comes in a heavy duty case for storage, transport, and protection from the elements. 
This is a perfect tool t install, or repair Bab wire fencing.

Great heavy duty Barb fence stapler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The PFS9 Stapler is nice looking and appears well made. It comes in a nice plastic storage box with a set of Allen wrenches and an oil bottle from the factory. I would advise storing the oil bottle separately after opening as it tends to leak. It takes a bit of tweaking to get the air pressure just right the default setting will drive staples slightly below the wood surface, which will cut the wire. I found that a setting of 80 psi on my compressor worked quite well. I also used the included Allen wrench to adjust the nose piece to leave about 1/4 inch space under the staple, this seems to work fine for my purposes, but other adjustments may be necessary depending on wood density. I recently completed a small fencing project and I am happy to report that I did not have a single staple jam.
It takes a little while to get the technique right and to work things with the gun. You need to press it down against the wire and the post hard enough to push the nose-bridge back before it will fire. Over all It's relatively light, even with a full clip. It is a time saver, and well worth the price.

Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is good for farm and cattle fencing. You can install about 300 feet of fencing in a little over an hour. Maybe more. Stapling about every 8 feet. Is perfect for repairs to my daughter's chicken coop!
It's easy to load and you can use Freeman staples or use any generic 9 gauges collated staples will work with this gun.

Big Time Saver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Freeman Fencing Stapler comes in its own hard case with everything needed to get started except staples. The Freeman 9 Gauge stapler instructions are easy to understand and follow. The Pneumatic stapler does require a compressor rated to run the stapler. Please read and follow all instructions and safety rules. The stapler does have safety features that allow for easy use while keeping the operator safe. The stapler gun uses 9-gauge 1 1/2- 2 inch Collated staples.
The stapler gun is easy to load and will hold up to 50 staples. The staples are not easy to find, they can be found at the Freeman website and can be ordered online. The Staple gun does make the job of installing fencing easier and faster. We used it to staple our lattice together which the staples were a bit too big doing this however, it worked just fine for what we intended. I do recommend having a large enough compressor to handle the fencing stapler to which is able to compress enough air for it to work properly. If you have a shop this is perfect for an addition in your work place and can be placed back in the nice case it comes with and ready for use on the next job. I gave this product 4 stars for the staples aren't sold in our local stores, my husband had to order them online. As far as loading the stapler it was easy and quick with good performance for stapling larger projects as in a fence, in home carpenter and large outside carpenter use. The staples go in the wood as expected with a good balance. The fencing stapler is lighter to hold than I expected which is better for longer use not to wear out your hand while using it. Other than ordering the staples online it is a nice stapler. I do foresee using this item on more projects my husband and I have going on. We have a fence to put up yet and my husband did try this product on the gate and it held the larger staples perfect and they are held tight. I do recommend this stapler for large jobs, a carpenter business or just to have on hand. I have heard of Freeman tools as this is my first experience of using their products and very pleased with the performance.

Nice stapler for fencing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Freeman PFS9 9-Gauge 2 in. Pneumatic Fencing Stapler is an air tool that is ideal for installing a variety of fence types. It has many awesome features, designed to make any size fencing project easily done and professional looking. The body or casing is made of Aluminum making it durable, yet light weight; weighing just a little more than eight pounds so you do not have to have iron man muscles to work it. It also has a “T” handle design, which makes it easier to use for longer without worrying your arms getting tired and/or starting to hurt. Other features awesome features of the Freeman PFS9 9-Gauge 2 in. Pneumatic Fencing Stapler include an air-filter that has an “anti-dust” cap, keeping the inside of the stapler dust/debris free, which can lengthen the life of the stapler. The Freeman PFS9 9-Gauge 2 in. Pneumatic Fencing Stapler also has the capability of different depth insertion of the staples that can be changed by just the twist of a knob (no tools needed) It also features a top loading magazine for the staples. Lastly there is a wire alignment notch, which allows for a more evened look without needing a whole lot time.
I got this stapler for my husband to fix our back fence and he had it done in no time at all. I will definitely be recommending this product to all my friends and family, this is perfect gift for Father's Day.

Makes you look like a Pro

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my husband to use as we were having lots of problems with our fence. When I first saw it I was surprised at how large it was and was a little skeptical that it would do the trick. My husband came home and saw it and instantly knew that it was the right one we could use for our fence. He like the versatility and the fact that we could use it on different types of fences in the future. It is quite powerful and pretty accurate. It is the best on the market, even if there are others with more power. There is no need to go with the more expensive ones as this one is priced right and does the trick quite well.
