My daughter is only 2mths and thin build. This is very good durable material for a skirt and looks adorable on her. We ordered size 2t with the adjustable waist but even when pulled to the last button the skirt is a little big. Since it is good material I do not mind because I know it will get good and long wear time! I will continue buying these as she grows.

Stylish and practical. A bit long but we have had one of these altered so it wouldn't be "too long" per my daughter.This skirt is one of our favorites. Has built-in shorts so works perfect for girls who want to wear a cute skirt and still do cartwheels at recess:) Quality is good. I have washed many times and no issues. The price point is super reasonable for this versatile skirt.

Perfect little skirt

Granddaughter need this as a summer uniform for school.  Normally she wears a size 10 after looking at the size chart I took a chance and ordered the size 8.  I bought two in a size 8 and another in a size 10 which she will have for next year.  The quality is excellent and it washes well too!

I would buy this again from French Toast

I really wish the girls skirts had more give to them in the waist. Children are all different sizes and although this skirt is able to be made smaller by the elastic pulls, there is no give for the little girls who still have their little baby bellies or just might be on the bigger side. I can buy, at the most, a 10 in brands and have plenty of room for my daughter, but here I guess I need to try a 12?!

Well made but runs small.

I love these skorts because our daughter can feel pretty and still be covered up in the playground. They are durable but stain easily. The biggest issue is the incessant unwanted emails I get every single time I order something from this site. It's getting to be a dealbreaker. Hopefully we have enough to get by for a while. I do recommend the uniforms if you don't mind unsubscribing from intrusive emails.

Good uniforms

I bought these for my daughter whose size 10 skirts were getting tight. I ordered a 12 and they ended up being smaller than her 10's from Lands End. The prices are better than the Lands End skirts and the plaid was correct for her school, but definitely be careful when ordering.

Sizing is small

I am disappointed that this is the vendor for my daughters school. The skirt while it has shorts is too short still. Material is paper thin, not reinforced and you can see through it in the light.  I followed the chart included for weight and everything. The skirt still was too short. If I would have went a size up then the skirt would have been too big. I shouldn't have to take my daughters uniforms to a seamstress. I'm hoping I can find somewhere else.

DISAPPOINTED!!!!

I ordered this skirt for my children, because it was required by the school.  The skirts runs VERY large. For my 9.5 year old, I am now on my 3rd order trying a size 6.  We first tried the 8, then the 7 and they have all been very large.  And, every time I have made a purchase they have charged me $9.95 for shipping to get it to me and $7.95 for the return.  I am in for over $45 in shipping charges and still haven't found one that will fit her for school.  They are also very itchy and uncomfortable.  I would not recommend this product unless you are forced to purchase it.

I would not recommend this product

Our school recently updated their uniform policy to be focused on French Toast products. It has been extremely frustrating to be unable to try clothes in to find the right fit. We are on our third order and return for poor fit. When we follow the sizing guidelines the product we receive is enormous. When we purchase the size she typically wears the fit is too tight to even pull on. After speaking with a representative to get the just right fit, the size is STILL too big. Young daughter finds the fabric itchy, stiff, and not conducive to play.

Weird sizing / itchy fabric

My Daughter could not even functionally fit into the skorts after they were received. I have them both sitting in their package and the Skirt I bought also had a similar issue. Too tight with no give for her proportions. She has another skirt from the store (different brand) that has a stretch inseam with zero issues, but I thought these would have the same. I am quite distraught she does not have enough uniforms other than the khaki over-dress she wears with her uniform shirts.
