My beautiful 11.5 year old min pin/dachshund [Angel] has started to lose her teeth, so I decided to switch her to a soft food diet. I tried a different brand but she would not touch it. I picked up a roll of fresh pet at the store and I could not be happier that I did, because now she gets so excited for meal time that she dances around on her back legs. She is our sweet girl and we want to keep her with us as long as possible. I want to thank you for making a wonderful product.

Chunky Beef

I bought a small loaf of beef reciipe. Dogs just loved it so now I buy the big loaf .first time the food bowls are licked clean .My doxie does a little dance to get his ,!! A great product. Happy dogs, happy me . Carol Kaminski

My dogs love it

Our 2 year old Cavachon Brandy always had stomach issues and was on expensive digestive dog food. Her health started to decline severely with stomach bloat, lethargy, wheezing and constant scratching. I suspected it was her food and started researching fresh, limited ingredient, nutritional dog foods, that's when thank goodness I found Freshpet! She loves it ! I can honestly say it changed her life, she's like a puppy again and no more stomach issues

Ruger does so good on this food he is so shiny and happy he loves it. I top his kibbles with it and it helps him eat his dry food .

Fabulous food for my special dog child

Our baby was never one to pay attention to food. Dry food was always available but he never was in a rush to eat. We started moving him over to the roll and the change is dramatic. We refer to it as his bologna, and every night he reminds us that it is time for it. Once we set it down, it is gone in less than a minute. No mess, and no fuss. Just a cleaned plate to put in the dishwasher. We had looked at alternative brands, but are sticking here because Finnegan absolutely loves it.

Don't need a clock

Tuck is our dog and we rescued him after he had already had a horrible life. He was abused and only used for breeding. Obviously his care wasn't considered either as he was heartworm positive as well. For first few months it was do sad to see him  no energy no life. And he had permanent damage to his heart even after heartworm was negative. One day the vet suggested we put him down because he was having so much trouble breathing and just had no life. I looked in this dogs eyes and said no.  He wants to live. She disagreed and gave him two months.  My son and I left devastated. I took him home and we decided changes are happening now. The main thing was his diet. So I went and got him fresh pet.  After two days something started to happen. Tuck wanted to get up and actually started to play. Not a lot but enough to notice trust me. Here we are two years later. Tuck still coughs a few times a day but he's here!!! He plays, he shows his personality, he has become a vital member of our family and we love him and he loves us. And he shows it!! All this started with fresh pet. You gave our dog a will and you gave us our sweet boy. Thank you so very much.

My Australian shepherd is 18 years old,before freshpet his health was deterating he has suffered with sezurs and arthritis my vet recommended to change his diet no grain so I found freshpet and years later he's doing great and still likes to play and chase squirrels would love to be a spokesman

Old dog young hart now!!

We switched from kibble to Freshpet as our dogs got older and needed soft food. They loved it. However, the most recent beef chunky had full of uncooked rice and pees. As you can see, the grains in the pictures are opaque. We are very disappointed. We had to throw it away. Now we are not sure if we would buy it again. Glad I checked before feeding my senior dogs. They've had kidney problem. We don't want the uncooked rice and pees make it worse.

My husband and I thought fresh pet would be just the food our Betty needed. Fast forward 6 mths later fresh pet caused more concern than anything. Bad breath,(real bad breath) constipation, and so uncomfortable for her to do anything. It's been real hard watching her not being her peppy self. We threw out fresh pet and started her on something different. It's been 5-6 days now and she's starting to feel so much better. Her poops are coming out more and her breath no longer smells like a garbage bag. I would not recommend fresh pet food. Just because it's made of healthy products and is a good price doesn't mean it's good for your fure baby.
