Since I started feeding my cat this food : 

Her fur has gotten very luxurious; she is back to behaving like she's a kitten - high energy & playful {She is 6 years old}; not to mention that she gets real meat and vegetables. 

When I first started using this product and we weren't able to finish the bag before it went bad I contacted the company about freezing the product. Now I open a new bag and put a portion in a sandwich zip lock bag and place the rest in the freezer and I take it out as needed which works really well. I also feed her multiple times a day as the food can get hard and dry if left out as real meat would if you left it out on the counter.

This cat food is amazing. It doesn't look or smell like cat food. In fact it smells more like people food. You can just tell that it's quality pet food. And sadly, because of this, my trash cat won't eat it. Well he did eat some of it, but only when completely covering it with his old cheap wet food. He's a former outdoor kitty who pretty much ate whatever he could catch and does not appreciate the finer things in life and doesn't like to be pampered. (I tried) I highly recommend this food to kitties who do!  And to the person who said their food was covered in mold after a few days, make sure that you refrigerate it like the directions tell you! Don't just put it in a cool dark place! I kept it in the fridge for more than the recommended 7 days and not only did it not mold, but it stayed absolutely fresh!

Food fit for a human!

I have a lot of cats. And recently decided to try something new. And woalla - cats LOOOOVED if so much . Just weird that food smells like kolbasa with garlic …

Good food and my cats love it. Since I live a minimum 2 hours from any major city, Walmart is the only store in my area. I used to be able to rely on Walmart as a go-to to purchase my cats' food— mind you, this product was the ONLY refrigerated cat food at Walmart, never mind anywhere near me. Now they have decided to rudely cater entirely to dogs and dog-only owners, while crossing their fingers in hopes that no one would notice (particularly people owning one, or multiple cats). Yes, Freshpet is still thriving and booming as a company….. AND this item / food formulated specifically for cats, is still in production. 
Do better, Walmart. Shame on you. When the time comes that my Walmart  membership that I've paid for reaches its expiration, expect me not to come back.

I'm having a hard time getting one of my cats to eat all her wet food since she had bladder stones removed last year, she's gotten very picky.  I bought this as a midday and bedtime snack for her to keep weight on and she really likes it. But if I give her a lot as a meal, she gets tired of it. I have sprinkled a few on my dog's food and they love it too. Ha ha

My cats really like it as a snack

Got this for the kitten who isn't a fan of pate. 
Yet every kitten food is pate.
The ones that aren't are a bit pricy as they add up. 

You think at almost 7 bucks this is too much, 
and maybe as a primary source for a cat~ Sure.
But for a kitten that eats kibble plus 3 tablespoons of wet a day~ it's Good.

I do one tablespoon of Fresh Pet to One tablespoon of Kitten pate.
Chop it together with the side of a spoon so still meaty chunks.
Add a dash of pouch broth (or warm water) and Magic.

Food she wants to eats.

After a week, not even 1/4 way through refrigerated pouch.
With Sheba or Fancy Feast kitten pate %26 Purina bone broth~
From Walmart curbside (10 wk old kitten) bout 20 bucks @ month.

By 12 weeks once they've had final shots and been fixed, 
they can handle Purina One Kitten Kibble solo.
Cats are carnivores so nice to supplement a bit of meats with kibble.

Have a cat that's not a dry fan?
Add some warm water.  Makes it smell like meat.
If you can swing the Fresh Pet~ Walmart makes it Very Affordable.

Another thing Walmart does that just can't stop being Grateful for is,
Curbside pickup. Free over 35. Brings to your car. Nice people.
Will ship what's not in stock free. So easy at same great prices.

Makes Kitten Pate Appealing to Meat Eaters

This is a excellent, nutritious cat food that is kept fresh in the refrigerator.  Our Siamese cat is fairly picky, but he definitely likes this food.

Freshpet Tender-Chicken Recipe....

Our cat hasn't had a discussion with us about it, but she has been observed as being positive towards eating this cat food. If we are found clawed to death in our sleep, I would assume she is making a negative comment to it.

Observable positive likelihood

Best cat food for my cat. Loves it. BUT - It is way expensive. Walmart raised the price by $1 per pound [to $6.47] the week that I started buying it. That is the lowest price in town, but wow!

Great - but costly.

Be sure you check the expiration date, I ordered 2 bags of Fresh Pet cat food for Jan 2nd, I used 1 and froze one. I finished the first one on Friday night and took the 2nd one out the day before to defrost. I just happened to look at the back of the bag and noticed the sell by date is 10/23/22 - OVER 2 MONTHS PAST THE SELL BY DATE and this is what Walmart  delivered to my home! How is it that your store 
failed to pull expired food from the Pet Dept  refrigerator and your shopping service failed to
notice that the product was expired or they just didn't care! Today I discovered that the food I've been feeding my 3.5 month old kitten for the last few days expired 2.5 months ago. SEE photos !
