It works great with the TV sitting right on top of it, but for the best result, wall mounting it makes the fireplace look even better. The flat black is super elegant. The box it came in, came very well protected with extra foam  that kept all the parts away from any damage. I received it earlier than expected.

Perfect height,  width,  color, with well finished

I received it in 3 days. Easy to assemble Put it together in 1 hour I am a woman in my late 50s.It has a number of varieties on the remote. I have a large bedroom ,heated up beautifully . Prefect fit I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

Just what I wanted

RealFlame

I ordered this for my Husbands Man Cave and it was Perfect! He had just hung up his 80in flat screen and so I wanted the Fireplace Entertainment Center to be as long as the Flat Screen and it matched up perfectly. It's very heavy and Sturdy which we Love and Loved that you can adjust the shelves which helped us out a lot with being able to get in all the game systems. The only reason I didn't give this center a 5 star is that there is a couple of spots that I'll have to touch up with some black paint... Nothing really bad at all just a couple of places where it came together needs a little touch up.
FYI it came in two shipping boxes and both are really heavy and one is really long!! My husband put it together and I just assisted on putting the top on. WE LOVE IT!!
