This book is very well written and easy to read. 
It is a must read for anyone who knows someone suffering from addiction. 
Very revealing and hopefully it will help others, which is why he wrote it. I hope he stays well and lives a long life helping others who struggle.

I was so excited about getting this book and I was very happy that I got to read it m. It was so worth the time and money I spent on it

This book was a gift for my best friend who is a recovering alcoholic.  She really was interested in his story as we all loved him as an actor.    I know he wrote it to start the conversations and recognize addiction.  but most of all celebrate family and friends in revovery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just started reading  and so far it is very good. Matthew inserts his humor through the narrative so it shows the very personal touch. I will submit another review when I finish the book. 

I have a friend that has it on tape and he said that is excellent because Matthew is telling it and you really understand his journey…

Haven't finished, but…

I enjoyed the read and think it's a great book however it's sad at the same time because I picture the character of Chandler as I read and to find out what he went through is heartbreaking.

Good read but very heartbreaking

Best Friend!

I loved friends so much and it was great getting a kinda inside peak from someone who was right in the middle of it ! Also I felt for Marty and everything he's been through. The only thing I didn't like was the confusing time line from one chapter to the next and he did repeat a few things but it was still a good read

It almost looks like it is not an authentic copy.  As a gift, I was very hesitant to give it. (Wish I'd taken pictures...)

I was so looking forward to this book. The constant mention of his girlfriend conquests and his money were a huge turn off. He does say he just wants to help people but after Perry House closed he doesn't offer solutions to those in need. Reading that he was hungover on set most of the time was a huge turn off. Although my heart goes out to him I found no substance in his book. Love his character, just not his book.
