Offers affordability, but may not justify cost for some features.

Fails to scrape sides of container effectively.

This is my first experience with a modern ice cream maker. The last time I made homemade ice cream was decades ago and it was a lot of work. I didn't have any expectations of this machine, other than the possibility of having to return it.

This is a nice little machine. I recommend reading the directions in their entirety before use to avoid any issues. The directions have the usual grammar mistakes from being translated to English, but they're easy to understand, with one exception. My only complaint is despite what they say, there are not any recipes for sorbet or frozen yogurt, and the ice cream recipes are a bit difficult to understand. I found a sorbet recipe online that I was able to tweak to suit our taste (less sugar), and have made it 4 times already.

It has a couple of features that were a pleasant surprise. The motor clicks into place so there's no worries of it falling out of the top when removing the cover. My favorite feature is the paddle, which is designed to auto separate from the motor, saving the trouble of a dripping mess. I would buy this machine again.

I was not pleased with the results of my first attempt. I must admit yhe caude was "human error". Follow the directions carefully! Otherwise the unit performs well. The recipes included in the user manual should also list the US measurements.

Perfect on learning how to make ice cream

What a delight for the summer.  Enjoying all the fruits in a refreshing way.  Blueberry, Strawberry, Papaya, Melon sorbets.  Delicious Mango and Raspberry frozen yogurts.  Easy to use and works great.

Way to beat the heat in an enjoyable way.

Decent machine for the money,. Paddles seem weak but seem to do ok, plenty of power, paddles dont scrape sides well but again it seems to do ok job
Our first batch of ice cream was this
2 cups heavy cream, 1 can condensed milk and 1 cup hersheys syrup
Turned out as good as any premium ice cream

Not bad for price, The recipes are in grams, I went to pinterest found better. Its small, stores easy, quick clean up. You have to put  tub in freezer for 8 to 12 hours before using. I only used 2 times can't say anything about durability.

I have trouble gettin the inner bowl out of the casing. You have to turn machine over to remove it abd it gets messy after making ice cream.

First try resembled a milkshake. I followed instructions making sure to leave the canister in freezer for longer than stated as suggested by reviews. After putting “ice cream” in a new container and freezing it it finally resembled ice cream consistency. Process took a long time.

Not the product I hoped for

It is nice looking, and made by frigidaire, so one would think it is a refrigerated unit.  Not!  This Total Piece of Garbage has a bowl that you must pre-freeze for 8-hours, and then when you make the ice cream, it never really hardens.  You have to put the semi-liquid ice cream in the freezer for another 24 hours.  What fun! NOT!  Recommend you buy a traditional ice and salt ice cream maker with an electric mixer on it.  More efficient and you will have ice cream within a few hours, not the next day.

I am seeing what we can do to get a refund.  This does not make ice cream.  It makes a nice soft gelato which can be delicious but can take 4 plus hours to do so and then the motor keep cutting off - needing to take a break.

Not worth the money
