It only smells some what ok for a few days then it starts to smell really bad.  I have had people comment negatively about the smell. 
Other than the smell it works very well.  If they would have no fragrance it would be perfect.   No allergic reaction like other leave in conditioners.  100% frizz control.  Great for curls, very nourishing especially for dry hair.  Makes hair manageable.  Great product if you can get past the smell.

I have fought with my naturally curly frizzy hair all my life.  Using huge large rollers during the 60's and 70's to straightening products and blow dryers.  Finally after retirement, I began letting my hair curl naturally but the frizz was awful so I tried this Frizz Ease product and was surprised to see that my frizz was finally tamed.  What a blessing.  Now I don't have to spend hours straightening or fooling with my hair.  I just spray it on, do a little crinkling of the curl and it looks great.  Thank you John Frieda for inventing this.

It actually works!!!

I have long hair that transitions from straight for 10-12 inches before becoming very curly.  Before using this product my hair would become a out of control throwback imitation of Tina Turners' hair in Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome any time I had to blow dry it.  
That's no longer an issue! This helps greatly reduce the "poofiness" of my coiffure (recently rediscovered my thesaurus).  It has helped cut down on tangles, split ends, and seems to make my hair a bit softer. I like it!

Great way to tame "the beast"

I have tried sooo many products trying to tame the tangles in my somewhat long, fine hair and nothing can compare to John Frieda FRIZZ ease. Sometimes my hair is a snarly mess after I wash it,  but with a good spray down of FRIZZ ease the tangles and knots comb out and my hair becomes silky smooth. If my hair starts to get the fly aways between washings, I spritz FRIZZ ease on the bottom couple of inches, run the comb through, and I'm good to go.  I have used several bottles now and just purchased another because the one I am currently using is almost empty.

Nothing works better!

it really stops the frizz. i have been plagued with my whole life.I have been using this for the past 5 years it works great and has a good smell to it

I love this stuff! Its not overwhelming scents, its much more subtle and slightly refreshing, too! Best part is i dont look have greasy hair like other brands I've tried! Highly recommend as well as the purple shampoo and conditioner! My favorites!

The ingredients seem good, but I didn't get the results I was expecting. Maybe there aren't enough “harmful” components—that's why the effect isn't very noticeable 🙂 Next time, I'll try something else.

Nice Ingredients, But Not Enough Effect

I used to love this product (last bought Sept 2025) but I just bought another one this week and they also  have changed the scent. One of the main reasons I liked this one was because of the nice, fresh scent. Now, it smells like any other chemical/hair spray. Extremely disappointed. Will have to have a new leave-in spray.

NOT the same!

i really had high hopes for this product. I lightly misted my damp hair and blow dried it and my hair was left very sticky. my hair ended up looking stiff. so I tried again another time, this time dry and also lightly misted it. same results- sticky, stiff looking hair. i was hoping for silky looking hair. For reference my hair is not dyed, and I have naturally straight hair. My hair looks shiny %26 very easy to comb through using Tresseme's hair oil. I would not recommend trying this product :(
