We recently tiled a back-splash in our kitchen and also painted. Frog Tape was excellent for covering both the counter tops to protect from grout droppings, and painting around the baseboards and molding. I would highly recommend it. It does exactly what it says it does, and is dependable.

I have many joining dif. paint color lines on rounded corners in my house so a straight line is imperative in my detail eyes and for a professional look. There is nothing worse than a line where two colors join and one has leaked under your tape line (no matter how hard you try to press it down) and your left with an ugly looking line...just messy! The only way to accomplish a clean no leak line is with Frog Tape...thanks for developing this product! Make sure to read the tip on how to use the tape on a textured wall, even a light texture can be a problem if you don't follow the tip.

But after taping everything off and painted all my rooms and allowed it to dry, the frog tape peeled right off. Other tapes broke off in little peices. I was amazed at Frog tape and it's worth everything penny...

Best tape I've used for painting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had seen other people use frog tape in the past, but I was “true blue”. After many ,many painting jobs cleaning up after the other tape I decided to give it a try. Wow, the difference is quite noticeable. My mask lines are much cleaner, and removal is a breeze. I also never realized how nice it is to have my tape in a nice plastic container, the edges always stay nice and square. The other tape would bang around in the back of my truck getting banged up which make it difficult to get a clean line when peeling it off of the roll. I'm pretty sure I'm a frog tape user for life

Green is the new blue!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The simple fact is blue 3m tape does just as good a job for half the price the thing people should know is you have to burnish the tape as you have to do with frog tape they say it will not remove old finish wrong I have been a professional painter for over 30 years it failed me and other painters I know by removing paint from surfaces it was to protect even after just being on 24hours 3mblue is my recommendation but keep in mind burnish all tape edges and remove as soon as possible

a little bit overrated and over priced

I used this tape on steps. I painted first the back of steps. Waited a few days taped off prior to staking. Once stringing was done removed tale and pulled off chunks of paint.

BAD: Wow buy this it's the best??? I have faux wood crown mounding it TOTALLY took the color off! NOW WHAT! Paid WAY more money and got screwed DO NOT use 
Of course there is no way to post a picture as I would!!! no way to fix without replacing the entire mounding so sad and mad I was duped and wasted money!

I taped off glass sunburst design and the lock and handle of a 70 year old door; most of the doors in my neighborhood are the same.

I removed the tape about an hour after I'd painted. It pulled off all the previous paint layers, plus mine. Colors: black, brick, and my bright fuschia. The paint came off in rubbery shreds. 

Not sure what to do. But this relatively easy project went very badly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put up frog tape to protect the wall while painting the ceilings. Good lines but when removing within 3 hrs it pulled lines of the wall paint off. The wall paint was 2 yrs old so it was cured and was Behr premiums so it was not poor quality paint. Now I have to repaint the walls in 3 areas. I should have just cut the walls in by hand and cleaned up my mistakes.
