These are very nice quality and just what I was looking for. They do run big so order a half size down. Very versatile and good looking boot! Comfortable for me out of the box.

The Frye Company

I have several pairs of Frye boots. Very high quality. These are by far my favorite. They fit me great in my normal size (9. 5) even though I normally size down a half size in Frye boots. Several of the reviews say they are hard to get on but I think that may just be from people who are not used to wearing cowboy boots. They are called boot straps people. Use them. Love these boots.

Had to return mine for size. I tried to exchange but that size wasn't available. Disappointed that I had to get a refund

Had to return mine for

I bought a pair of Duke Ropers in 2018 and they were my favorite boots that I've owned. I've received more complements on them than any other footwear in my closet. Fast forward to 2024 and I decided to buy a second pair. The construction seems to be a little tighter than my past pair but still great. Excellent boots. I generally buy size 13 shoes. I bought these in 13 and, while snug, they fit "like a glove" and I anticipate them breaking in a bit.

A little difficult to pull on and took several times wearing to break them in.

Duke Roper

I've had a pair of Frye harness boots for about 20 years. They're still my favorite boots to this day. I wear them several days a week. The quality of those boots compared to these new Duke Roper boots isn't even close. The Duke ropers feel cheap and insignificant compared to my old harness boots. I also ordered a pair of Ariat boots the same day I got the Duke Ropers. The Ariats are much nicer, and for less money.

Quality has gone down

I got a sore on my ankles after the first time I wore them. Not sure what's the work around to this!

I like the style

I ordered a size 9 mens. I wear a 9 or 9 1/2 dress shoe and /or boot. I couldn't get my foot in these size 9 boots.

Too small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Couldn't get them on my feet. Area between heel and top of ankle too small to slide my foot into. I put the sole to the bottom of foot and they looked plenty big, but never could get them on. Really don't know how they fit.
