I purchase 2 to 3 Fujifilm Quicksnap 800 Waterproof cameras per year, when I go to the Animal Parks. They take fantastic pictures in any condition, but they work perfectly in any water that I have used them in. I highly recommend this product to everyone.

This is perfect for them to use in the pool for some really cute pictures. I will be purchasing more for our beach vacation as well. It's so nice to see you they still make waterproof cameras.

Great camera for my kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These days we use our smart phones, forget even digital cameras, to take most of the photographs. My smart phone has an excellent camera, in fact it has three excellent cameras to take wonderful pictures. Why bother with a disposable camera? Well, there are still a few things that I cannot do with my phone when I take pictures. I cannot take it underwater. I do not want it to be in the sand or in the mud during my active weekend, for example. Here is where this disposable camera comes in. It is sealed in a plastic transparent case so it can be submerged under water up to 35 feet (10 meters) deep. It can be dropped into mud or sand, and it will continue to take pictures, just swipe sand or mud from the plastic cover. It has ISO 800 film so pictures can be taken pretty much under any light conditions during the day. 27 exposures is enough for me for a day or during one active event, underwater or on the beach, but if more exposures are needed, just take another such camera. The camera does not have a flash so it is best not to use it at night, or in the dark or unclear water. It is easy to operate. Just point and shoot. The counter shows how many exposures you have left. Keep it cool, protect from heat and x-rays. Of course, once I am done taking pictures, I have to take it to a place for film processing. It is an old way. It is somewhat inconvenient today. But once I see the vivid pictures I took with the camera, I am pleased that I had it done that way without risking my smart phone going into the water, or being covered with sand or mud. Great solution for today!

Great Camera for an Active Day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first time using a Fujifilm QuickSnap waterproof camera for that matter it is the first waterproof camera I have ever used. So, I can't say my phots turned out good. I did try again with another Fujifilm QuickSnap waterproof camera I am sure they are going to be a lot better. I learned a few things and I hope to take better photos next time. Just a few things to consider before you take your photos. I didn't think about the sun's location at all why would that matter. It matters a lot when you are taking your photos underwater. For best results use it in direct sunlight and (do not face your back to the sun). The only downside was getting the film developed. All photos places will not develop this film and the ones that do send the film out and it takes a few weeks to get it back. Once film sent off, developed, and photos with CD returned, you can just use your PC to enhance the digital photos and they are going to be great.This way you can make copies for your friends and family to enjoy, I really am surprised with this camera it fun the cost of it is not bad at all. A great way to learn how to use one. I had fun after I got into this camera business and you and your children will like it also. I can not wait to play with this with my grandchildren s. And it does float on the water by the way. I think children will love this and have a lot of fun with their friends taking photos.

Very Good

Took this camera on our trip to Hawaii for some underwater picture. It does the job although its hard to keep the cam steady in the water. I will buy this again on my next trip to the Philippines

great camera unbeatable price

I took 3 of these cameras snorkeling in Maui.  
got much better and more quality pictures than expected

Better than expected

These are great for kid's trips to the beach or lakefront with water activities!  For the price they can't be beat!  I would be willing to pay a bit more if they had a built-in flash, but oh well!  It's a challenge for younger kids, and even some older ones to hold on to their possessions, so a 'point & shoot' type camera with flash and memory card, good underwater, is easily going to cost $100-150.  This is a simple-to-use, cost effective alternative to allow your children to same some memories!

Good Little One-Use Camera!

This was a great camera to use while snorkling in the bahamas. The pictures came out crisp and clear. I wish it had a zoom feature, but you can beat this price for a point and shoot.

Great photos from disposable waterproof camera

We've used disposable cameras before when snorkeling in Mexico and Maui. The photos aren't ever as good as a standard camera, but we've gotten decent clear shots that were usable. We got this camera for a kayak trip in Kauai to take photos on the river. The photos were all very fuzzy and we probably only got a few usable shots, and those aren't really very good. Beside the outcome, the operation of the camera was really strange. Instead of the normal push-button, it has a hand crank. I could never tell when it actually took the photo because there was no discernible click or noise to indicate the shutter opening. I wasn't sure there'd be anything on the film at all from the way it worked. And it was impossible to take a selfie because you couldn't pull the crank to take the photo and hold the camera still with one hand. How in this day and age is it possible for technology to get worse? I've attached a sample of one of the "better shots"

very disappointed

Carried this to the river on float trip. Took all pics but 4 on the water. Never got wet. All pics looked like they were picselated grainy. Colors ran together like paint. Film must have been old or exposed to chemicals. Will not suggest this brand.
