I really liked the color and the bookcase is perfect in my living room.  Nice and sturdy. So glad I chose this bookcase.

Sturdy and easy assemble, hold all my books!

Great

So you get what you pay for. If you want a book case that is cheap and does the job then it's the one for you. If you want something that can last years and be super sturdy, perhaps not this particular bookcase. Overall I got it knowing that I just needed a black bookcase to hold just a few things.

Good for the price

Mostly ok except the very bottom stabalizer broke the first week. also, the back paneling is of really poor qaulity. it is not flush with the rest of the bookcase. nail placement with the back panel needs to be improved. i dud not have high expectations for 50 dollars. You get what you pay for.  Note in case anyone was wondering, this bookcase does arrive in a small box. at first glance i thought i was sent the wrong item. But the whole bookshelf does in fact fit in that little tiny box. you don't need to worry about some giant box arriving at your house.

Ok for 50 bucks

Looks nice considering the price.  Putting them together is difficult, however,  and you need to anchor them to the wall to keep them from tipping over on someone. .  I live in an apartment and chose to shorten them to avoid  putting a big hole in the wall. It's possible but tricky. If you order more than one watch for the depth. I got one that was not as deep as the other. I also don't like the back ; it's just flimsy cardboard. If you can afford it, get units that are stronger.

Cheap bookcase.  backing is a paper cardboard, very flimsy. While carefully taking the install stickers off, finish was coming off as well.  if you want something cheap this is ok, otherwise look eslewhere.

SoSo

We have three other similar bookshelves from Walmart we've accumulated, and needed another to match. This one sucks, it leans and wobbles and makes me a little Nervous. I'm assuming it's the same design but from a different manufacturer than weve had previously

Bad quality, wobbly

Backing ripped just moving it around trying to get it nailed on.  Shelf is two little ones put together. Even when everything is tight it sways alarmingly side to side.  I would not trust it to hold books and not fall apart.  Directions pictures only and complicated.  Had to watch youtube to even get started.  I knew it was a great low price, but expected much better quality.

Difficult. Disappointing. Not sturdy at all.

Trying to build it with these instructions was a pain. And to make things worse, when i went to stand it up… the screws BROKE through the wood so now i can't even use it so i'm returning it. It already felt way too flimsy to begin with but i was trusting the process. Never again

Wouldn't buy

I was in the middle of building it and we gotten to the last step of just putting on the backing. Went to stand it up and the whole broke in half. The middle support board also broke into pieces where the screws go so there's no fixing it. We used a drill to make sure everything was tightened. It shouldn't have come apart.
