The figure is a nice addition to the GI Joe toy line. It expands on the traditional military concepts and adds an element of the supernatural. The accessories included with the figure  allow for customization and increased play or display options.  My only gripe is the price. It could be cheaper. Other than that, the figure is awesome!

Now this might be my favorite GI Joe classified fig yet, and I definitely say this because of the wolf. There are few real gems out there in the classified series, but the Ghost Viper and (more importantly) the DIRE Beasts are awesome in a variety of ways. The optional parts, and especially the alternate heads are incredible. Highly detailed and ready for action, the dire beasts rule. The green cobra is almost forgotten, but it's an added little bonus that's both fitting and fun. Hard to top the green wolf/cobra head swapping combo options though. For anyone who likes action figures, at any age, this is a good get in my opinion. The price was a bit high, but it's difficult to find in store, and it comes with a ton of optional parts, so buy it if you see it…or someone else certainly will.

A must have for any GI Joe fan or collector!

To start off I should have ordered a couple more at the time I placed the pre-order.  My local Walmart's don't carry GI Joe Figures which is a shame.  


With that said the ghost viper is a great looking figure with a lot of accessories. The green translucent plastic adds to the aesthetics along with the multiple heads.  I will mention the stock head is a little loose but nothing bad.  A great addition adding these alongside Crystal Ball.

They did a amazing job with these characters. You can do so many different types of army building looks with them. Whoever designed them has something crazy going on in their mind!

Great figures

Dire Tech is a fantastic new dimension for the G.I. Joe line.  This group feels like the Cobra version of the Joe's Night Force.  I look forward to future troops from this team.

D.I.R.E Viper

this was a Christmas gift for my Dad the collector. he loved it. while this and a few other joes are hard too find, they are worth it. hasbro goes to great lengths for the joe team. ( don't know why they didn't do the same with the PRLC line, and for that i will never forgive them 😡) lol, jk, not really)
the only complaint and its not really a complaint about this joe set. my Dad just said he had some trouble changing the wolfs head. not sure if anyone else has had that problem,  but its just something to watch out for

As you may all know, this figure is chock full of gear! It's a beautiful case of re-use and new sculpts, but pricey. I definitely recommend acquiring at least one, as it feels more like an elite viper specialist instead of an army builder. The various head options and overall gear combinations contradict my urging. However, the price point does encourage us to acquire fewer of them. 

The great news is the figure is pretty solid! I didn't have any quality control issues. The joints are solid and hold poses without issue. 

Worth the price, but would be a steal on sale.

Classified Green Flames

I absolutely love this set. It looks awesome and the lore surrounding it is pretty cool. My only complaint, like a lot of people is the price. This is an army builder set and it's hard to army build at the normal price of $60 let along the aftermarket price of $90 and up. So, for now I'll just stick with one. Maybe later on I'll get lucky and find it on clearance

Ghost viper is a great figure with a few negatives. Lots of accessories, but some are reused from older figures and have unfortunate downsides like the pegs in the sides of the guns. It's too bad it wasn't more widely available. And also would have liked it before Halloween lol

Sold out way too fast. Exclusives only make sense when they drive people to shop for other items. This doesn't work when the exclusives sell out immediately and only serve to frustrate those would be customers. Not smart.
