I love this watch. I have owned a Delta Tactix for many years and decided to add this watch and I am super happy I did. The main reason was the size. The Tactix is very large and I wanted something smaller and this fit the bill. Little did I know how much better it would be. The Forerunners gen 5 sensor is so much better. It captured much more data in short load high intensity anaerobic activities like weight lifting and tennis. My Exercise Load (EL) was way higher than I knew. Also, my HRV was much lower.

Great Upgrade!

Garmin

I have been an Apple Watch user for 5-6 years (and a Fitbit wearer before that). I really got into running this past year, and while my Apple Watch could track many of the metrics I pay close attention to, it wasn't as running-focused as I wanted. And because it was connected to my iPhone, I felt inundated with notifications all the time (yes, I know I could have turned the notifications off). I wanted something more simplistic and more fitness-focused, not just a smartwatch.

The 570 is a great middle-of-the-road Forerunner for my first Garmin. It tracks all the important running metrics I need (e.g., cadence, stride, ground contact time, recovery time) without breaking my budget, and blocks out notifications while I am doing my workouts so I can remain focused.

Coming from an Apple Watch, my favorite things so far include how light it feels and the battery life. I have a busy work schedule and travel a lot, so not having to remember to bring another charger has been wonderful.

10/10 recommend the 570!

Great middle-of-the-road Forerunner

Love this watch. I wanted a forerunner for a small wrist and this was perfect. Using the comfort Velcro band in sand and it matches the cream of the watch. Really like full stats though I'm sad we still don't have ECG on it. Garmin please make more Velcro bands standard on the forerunners! I wear it 24/7 and my skin is too sensitive for the silicone.

Perfect forerunner for small wrists!

I purchased my watch about a month ago and I love it! I wear it daily and I am enjoying the fact that I can really focus on my fitness status. This watch has everything I need.

I am using a Coach Greg plan to train for an event and I love that the coaching is dynamic and that I get feedback!

Bravo Garmin, well done.

I love my new Garmin!!!

I switched from the vivioactive 5 to the fr 570 and I'm very happy I did. I love the interface a lot better and there are a lot more features when tracking running and other workouts. The things I like the most are the ungraded sensor under the watch, the elevation meter and the ability to answer phone calls. This watch has also made me a lot more motivated to keep running. Overall, I recommend this watch and I love that I got it.

I love the upgrade!

i bought it almost a month ago i believe and i love it, i think i havent been able to fully understand it a 100% since it has so many options and commands but i really like it so far, i would like that there would have a youtube or in the app some videos with tricks and how to use each section i think it will be very helpful.

learning!

This watch is an amazing watch that will change the way you run! It is pricey though. If you're a serious runner, it is absolutely worth it. I love it for intervals workouts and the heart rate monitor. I say that it is definitely the best running companion other than my late dog, Nigel. Running with an attractive woman or man... meh... just a distraction! Running with the Garmin Forerunner... oh yeah! NOW were getting in shape! Running with Nigel... we're getting in shape and we're getting unconditional love!!

Best running companion, minus the price and a dog

Been wearing it for a couple of weeks and love it! The flexibility to create your own workouts and run them from the watch has been a huge help in my training.

The only drawback is the sleep focus. I wish there was a setting for pacemaker. I was looking forward to the jody battery and recovery data.

But, all in all, it's been a great experience!

Love it!

I broke my 920xt trying to repair a button so I bought the 570 to replace it. For me, the 570 has way more features than I need. There's no way to turn off step counting and the optical heart rate monitor outside of time activities like running and this eats into battery life. And apparently the keeping the screen on all the teams eats the battery as well. I just need this thing for running and hiking and I'd like it to just be a watch the rest of the time. The best compromise I could come up with is to put the watch into power saving mode when I'm not running and the battery lasts a lot longer.

Meh, I liked my 920xt better

I like the watch and all the features but 1 week in i already got a scratch/ a part of the outer ring that was damage. So I would be aware that the outer ring is very easily damage.

Good features but dissapointet on the durability
