Great price - best I could find online - free shipping (purchasing two) for a quality product. The same exact product at Cabela's was $43 each without free shipping. Easy to install and universal in application on most canoe seats it appears. No idea as to durability but the look as though they will last a while...though probably not as long as the Scanoe Coleman seats I used for 30 years on one of my two canoes.

Great seat for canoe/kayak

Fits our kevlar canoe seats perfectly, very stable and comfortable.  Easy to install, fold up and carry.

Excellent seat option for canoeing

Used it in the canoe on a short fishing trip. It was comfortable and sturdy and had no problems.  Not sure on the durability yet.

Worked good in the canoe

We spent two days on the river in a canoe and both of us have bad backs. These seats were a lifesaver and I would highly recommend. They're adjustable and comfortable.

Best Purchase

This does help my old back vs not having it. It fit the Grumman aluminum canoe with no problems. I added a few strips of Gorilla Tape under the canoe's aluminum seat to help prevent any sharp edges from possibly hurting the seat straps that hold it to the canoe. All in all, I am happy that I finally got around to buying this.

Great product.Very happy to be able to relax in my canoe with comfort.Fits perfect on my Old Town Osprey. Now I dont know where the time goes fishing. Been paddling back in the dark.

Great product!!!

We have just put these on our canoe and they worked well. Not certain of durability as we just got them. They went on easily. The adjustment of the back support angle was easy to adjust as well. If they break - I would replace them with the same Sitbacker but only if they last awhile.

They work well

These seats seen to be of GOOD quality.  However, the two securing straps are very short and will not work on a canoe seat that has any depth or thickness to it.  The description says the seat fits MOST canoe seats and was recommended as a purchase with the Sun Dolphin Elite SS.  IT DOES NOT!!!!  The straps are a good 18" too short to wrap around the depth of the seat.

Use ONLY if Canoe Seats are Flat or Thin

We recently purchase 2 of these seats to use in our canoe. They did provide comfort. Both chairs began to show wearing through within a week of use. I am hoping to hear from customer support to remedy this problem.

Fabric does NOT hold up.
