Setup is fast with flexible window orientation options.

My window air conditioner died in the middle of a heat wave.  I ended up purchasing three different portable units to try to replace it. All three were well known brands.

This unit, by far, had the best fan strength of the three.  It kept my bedroom very cool and overflowed to cool down the hallway.  It was easy to set up and took up very little space. The hose length was sufficient to reach windows.  The casters made it easy to move.  These factors are important to me as I am an older adult who lives alone. The only issue I had was that the window sealing panel left a small gap on each side of the panel when closing my slider window.  This was easily rectified by using the sealing foam included with the unit. It has a very average noise level.  I was able to sleep with the fan speed on high.

I was pleased with this unit and, of the three I purchased, it was the cheapest and best performing.

A good A/C for a great price

Solid! We have about 700-750 square feet and its able to make the house comfortable enough (25-27°C) on our recent 40°+ days. On a normal summer day that's 30° outside, inside will be 22-24° with this AC unit.

It's quiet enough for us, but isn't whisper silent. Just sounds like you'd expect from a powerful large fan. 

Overall I would recommend. 4.5/5

Solid AC - would buy again.

We have a fairly open main floor and this unit does a great job at keeping the area cool. When we had  first heat wave of the year the main floor was intolerable and now with this unit it is very comfortable. 

It is quiet as far as window units go. Easy set up. 

We haven't tried the dehumidifier feature yet but I'm confident that will work well too.

Keeps it cool

It is good but not the best. Its cooling power is not what I was expecting. Does not seem to be 14k BTU. It is little noisy even at the level 1 fan speed. However, it does the job. It does not make you feel cold even you run for hours. So I am happy with this purchase but not extremely happy.

Good but not the best

It doesn't quite do an effective job at cooling our apartment. We have floor to ceiling West facing windows which makes it extremely hot. That being said, this would be great for a living/dinning area with an open floor plan. I must say however, this unit works far better than our previous 10000 BTU air con.

Economical Air Con Unit

Its doing a good job keeping my older mobile home comfortable. I cant for the life of me get the wifi feature to work. It wont recognize my internet connection at all, the info on the tag to tupe in manually doesn't match the info the app says should be on the tag so i gave up. My old window AC cooled to 16°C and this one only goes to 18°C but it seems to be this old tin can cool so cant really complain.

Pretty decent machine

Delivery was late by a week. Walmart Customer service kept referring me to third party seller for tracking. But it was in Walmart warehouse. GE customer service was helpful to get a resolution. Unit does not seem to cool down 550sq.ft. Apartment. Very nice not having to drain a bucket. Wifi feature is pretty nifty. I will avoid ordering from Walmart online. Third order out of 12 that was late. Other 2 a month late until they canceled.

Decent unit but poor Walmart customer support

It wasn't a good experience. The design of the window mount is terrible. The hose broke from the AC side. The tab of the hose that connects to the AC was broken out of the box; i super glued it to try to use it. The wifi option didnt work.

Is this really by GE
