Water has a clean and neutral flavor profile.

Replacement filters are expensive and proprietary.

Fake product that is NOT genuine GE filter. Doesn’t fit into my fridge despite it being the same XWFE. Upon closer inspection it is missing the RFID chip and it’s considerably lighter than the genuine GE. Walmart should be completely liable for allowing this seller to ship counterfeit products under their platform and claiming it’s genuine

Second time since I owned this refrigerator and second time filter was defective. Plus having the chip demands I have to replace every six months even though I am a single user and filter is far from overused. I am selling house and fridge stays. I won't buy another GE fridge given these issues.

Fake filter. Does not work with GE refrigerator. No chip so no water flowing.

The filter didn't work, had to return. The barcode didn't work. Can't read the barcode. Kept on showing error.

Knock off filters

Knock off product! It's a xwf filter with a fake label. XWFE filter has a microchip in it for the fridge to recognize. This filter will fit, but give you an error on the fridge panel and not dispense water. Don't buy from this seller.

XWF filter with fake label! Don't buy!!

These are not actual XWFE filters. They arrived with no chips and would not work in the fridge. These fridges won’t dispense water if the chip isn’t present. The seller wouldn’t replace them so had to go directly to Walmart, who were great and I offered a full refund. Avoid this seller

Mislabeled or fake product.

I tough I was getting a good deal, but those are counterfeit filters, XFWE filters are suppose to have a chip inside them, the one I got did not have them, box & instructions were convincing. Without the chip, the fridge does recongnize the filter and does not distribute water.
Thankfully, I was able to return product to my local Walmart for a full refund.

Counterfeit product, beware!

This is NOT an original fridge filter. The original filters has an RFID chip that's required for the fridge to read without if giving you an error message. There ARE work around but that you should have to deal with it if all you need this for is to filter water..

Not original from manufacture

This filter cannot be replaced with a knock-off.  The inside of the label contains a RDF or something like that which pairs with the refrigerator.
