The Gemex Clam shell allows you to turn liquid into gems in under three minutes! Simply pour the Magic Liquid in to your mould, add cute decorations (fruits, flowers, pearls, glitter and more) and place your mould in the magic clam shell or under the magic light. In under 3 minutes your liquid will have turned in to hard plastic gems! Each mould has a post which pierces a hole in the gem, allowing you to attach a loop and add it to a charm bracelet. You can also add your gems to earrings, rings, hairclips, keychains and more! Each mould has between 6-7 different shapes allowing kids to create so many unique pieces of jewellery that they will want to wear! It's magic in minutes!

Bought these setscfor my granddaughters and they were a big hit. The only downside is that ther is way too little gel for the price paid. Fortunately we were able to order refills.

Great fun

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas. Works great. She loved the little gems she made. We used the accessories - made the hair clips, earrings, etc. but giving this only 3 starts because the tube of gel is small and after we used the kit once, we're out of gel! Where do we get refills? We have more accessories and sprinkles to use.

Pretty Good, but need more Gel

The gel is not usable, it is no longer liquid.

Was unable to use this kit as the resin was in a big glob in the bottle. I've had this item in the past, and I know that you should be able to squeeze the rest out of the bottle. It should not have been like that.

Faulty product

The silicone gel was dry, it was impossible to use it. A complete disappointment for the child. I had to urgently order a replacement on Amazon. It is not recommended to buy at a discount - will cost more than a new one at full price.

Bought this toy for Christmas, my child loved it but the gel bottle is small and got used up in one play. Refills are not available in Canada, hard to get in the USA and the only place I could get it was the UK and had to pay triple the price.

Basically a one time use toy

My daughter received this item as a gift. She was so excited to use it, but her excitement quickly turned to disappointment. The gel bottle intended to make the gems was completely dried up (even though the original seal was still on the bottle!).
After reading several reviews from other websites, it seems that this is a very common problem with this item. Without the gel, the entire product is useless.

Unusable

i bought this for my 11 year old granddaughter and she was delighted until she realized all the liquid for the gems were hard as a rock 
i set it in boiling water and still it wouldn't come back 
on top of this there are no replacement gels

all liquids were all dried up

My daughter was very excited to receive this for Christmas. Once we got it set up we discovered that not only is the gel rock solid....but you can no longer purchase the refills anywhere. Super disappointing for a little girl on Christmas.
