I think its great that I can buy a large box of these garbage bags and they last a long time. Unlike the cheap brand - you do get what you pay for at a resonable price.

I have bought this over the years and when force flex came out could not find it.  I do not like the force flex draw string bags as the drawstrings break through the bag and the bag itself punctures too easily and leaks easily.  Stick with the Tall Kitchen quick-tie bags.  Also, want to keep odors down, use fabric softener sheets or spray your can and bag with your own febreeze or lysol product.

Strong and avoids puncture!

I would just like to say that, I loved this product. I put this trash bag through what no other trash bag BUT Glad has been able to withstand. My family likes to cook things. We cook it and then it sits in the fridge, we forget about it and cook something else. Well after about a month of doing this our fridge is stuffed full, then I have to go through and clean it out of all that food we forgot to eat. Needless to say there is anything from solids to liquids in this mix. It all goes in a trash bag. Well I toted this big heavy trash bag to the back yard and all the way from my kitchen to the backyard the Glad trash bag did not break, I felt if stretching but not as much as the other brands. So in conclusion if you have a family that loves to cook and never eat well Glad will be there to support all that food when you have to dump all that food into the trash

This particular product is very strong

I live in an apartment complex that provides 'valet' trash pickup 5 days a week. The Quick-Tie bags fit into the trash can provided 'fairly' well and are easy to tie up.....and place outside my door. Also the quantity (80) fits my budget!!!

Works well for me!!

I've been buying the 13 gallon Tall Kitchen bags for 15+ years. I loved it when the Quick-tie version came out. I always avoid scented items because I find the odors offensive, not pleasant! Unfortunately my most recent purchase has a light 'fresh scent'. I hope it is a residual of the last run of your Febreeze version because the box makes no mention of odor neutralization or fresh clean scent. I will donate this package and buy one more in hopes that this was a one time mistake. But if it happens again I will be changing brands. Please be careful with your perfumes!

New scent?

The quick-tie tall kitchen bags have always been our preferred for simplicity and absence of any scent. They began disappearing from store shelves as Glad has introduced/pushed new products, but we have continued to find them at other outlets such as hardware stores. However, the last two boxes have had a distinct chemical-flowery odor, as if some sort of deodorant has been added. No markings on the box to indicate any new scenting. I can't imagine this is popular among longtime customers such as us. We won't continue to buy them if the next batch is the same. We have tried other Glad products and don't like them as much. Let me know your plans for Glad Quick-Tie Tall Kitchen bags. Thank you.

Hard to find/new unpleasant smell

I have used these bags for many years. Until recently I never had a problem. Suddenly all of the bags in the last two boxes had an extremely foul smell. I called Glad to complain but got absolutely nowhere. My only guess is now that Glad used Febreze on some products it is somehow affecting in a NEGATIVE way all products. Just bought the store brand and NO scent whatever! So long Glad. You have lost a loyal customer.

They stink!

I have purchased glad products for as long as I can remember. However, my most recent purchase of this particular bag was very disappointing. The quality of this product has declined greatly. The bags are now very thin and tearing is quite common. I now find myself doubling these bags just to get them outside to the dumpster without leaking on the carpet. I am now looking for a replacement product. Glad is no longer a quality product in my opinion.

Didn't use to tear

This is a sad replacement for the handle tie bags. Neither the quality of plastic nor the fit/grip of trash can is able to compare. At least one of the four little nubs consistently tears upon tying. It's disappointing when a quality product is replaced with an inferior one.
