Lightweight, easy to read numbers, love the dimmer switch for brightness, love having the dual alarms, esp inj case the first one doesn't get you up. love the idea of having eith the CD or the radio wake you when the alarm goes off,  programming a little tricky - just have to really read the instructions through a couple of times and after that - it's a breeze. Love that it's compact also and has battery backup.

This is a great little CD player clock radio purchase with a lot of options. My only complaint is the lack of full fidelity but that's okay for why I'm using this. For a rock and roll and night time therapy. Works great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a hard time figuring out how to set the clock or the cd player and I have to keep looking at the paper to see what button means what. Thats confusing

PLEASE, DON'T IGNORE THE REVIEWS! I read the plain instructions, even looked it up, and THE ALARM WILL NOT PROGRAM THE RADIO PROPERLY. This is a programming issue. I've tried everything and IT WILL NOT CHANGE FROM 88.5 and the static that plays on it. The radio also has no antenna, and the cord doesn't act like one. If you decide to play the radio normally, you can change the frequency, but beware that it won't pickup any stations near you even if they're from the next town over. I got 3 to pickup; One local country station and 2 christian stations.

I bought this alarm clock because my mother has had an alarm clock for over 20 years. Her alarm clock features a beeper and AM/FM radio. A 20-year old radio alarm clock can pick up nearly every station around us within a 50 mile radius. It has 2 alarms, both with switches on the sides to change them. There's also a slider much like the one for the volume to change the radio station. The audio on her alarm clock is somehow better than the one I just bought even though it's OVER 20 YEARS OLD. I truthfully thought that there would be more this one had to give.

NO WAKE-UP TO RADIO   NO AM RADIO   HARD CONTROLS

Looks good, nice compact size with easy to read time. CD Sound is not bad for price.  Love playing and waking up to cd.  Radio is weak, FM only. Programming buttons are confusing, very small print. Need to study users guide carefully and save it for reference.  Once figured out ok, but not simple or easy to program.

Mostly good but tricky to program

I like that it has a dimmer on the LED time display. It is difficult to program and will not allow me to change the radio alarm station  frequency but will work on CD wake up. Disappointed with functionality but I doo like the size and features. Just an OK clock radio CD combo

Cheapest option for several reasons. Shrill acoustics, hard to read control buttons. Overall cheap quality. Returned for refund. Spend more for better quality.

It is the most confusing difficult clock radio to program.  The buttons are difficult and it took me 45 minutes to finally get it working.

Not Recommended

my problem with clock radio: Im 80 years ild and could not PROGRAM the clock. I lovely everything else about clock except the instructions to program.  Very confusing

I originally purchased two of these radios from a local retailer but took them back because I found them impossibly difficult to program. Still wanting a combination CD player/radio, though, I looked on the GPX website and found an updated version.  I'm sorry to say, they're going back, too. The appearance has been updated, but programming is still impossible to figure out -- particularly with one small page of "instructions" that's less than helpful.  In addition, there is only an FM radio in the unit -- no AM!  Combining a CD player with an AM/FM clock radio is a great idea.  Unfortunately, GPX hasn't been able to pull it off.

I'm sending it back!
