I bought this for my husband as a small early Father's Day gift. He takes it to work with him everyday and listens to the radio while he works. He loves it and i am glad he has something small and handy to listen to while he works. It fits it his pocket perfectly, although he does like the armband feature as well.

Like it. I've been buying this for walking my dog. This is about the third one I have bought  over many years.

We bought this to broadcast the radio station for the drive-in movie theater and plug it into a big speaker. It works fantastic and for the price you can't beat it. Now we can all hear the movie very well.

Fantastic for what we needed

Everything I wanted while using lawnmower

I absolutely love this product, I use it while attending local baseball games to hear the radio call.  Its sound quality is excellent and seems quite durable when I have dropped it on concrete. I especially appreciate that it hold station pre-sets when changing batteries, so no need to reprogram it every time it looses power briefly.
The only problem is the headphones included. I prefer aftermarket ones (Sony) which have softer ear pieces.

In support of GPX armband radio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They aren't that great but, they're the only AM/FM radio your can wear on your arm or belt. They last about 3 months before battery door clips break off making it impossible to close and play. Bang one and it has to be reprogrammed so, they're not real durable and have to be held carefully to extend life.

This unit does not pick up a local FM station very well I doors.  My dad uses it at the ymca while walking and it just does not pick up the signal very well.

I thought this was a radio that would play music out loud, not just through earbuds. That was not indicated anywhere on it, and I saw several holes in the housing that appear to be a small speaker. We bought the thing, gave it to my son for his birthday, only to be disappointed with the fact that it can only be played with earbuds. Returned it the very next day.

Disappointing; only can be used with your beds

Barely Usable. Compared to the portable radio I had previously the reception of this one is much worse. I get quite a lot of static even on local high wattage stations. The presets are only accessible by going through all off them, so if you want to change to a station that is an earlier preset you have to loop through most of the other settings; i.e if you want to go from Preset 5 to preset 2 you have to go all the way up to 20 and then it starts back at one. That is very annoying, practically useless. The only positive is that it is so inexpensive.

Poor reception, poor controls.

This radio did not work at all.  I can't read the time to even set it.  This radio is something I purchased for the armband feature . I had hoped it could be used by someone who is visually impaired and on kidney dialysis.  However it doesn't get any reception .
