[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great. Had to wait 2 weeks, because hubby was determined he would do the seeding. Did not take long to actually place in the needed spots. We had rain off and on, and where the ground was level it filled in nicely. I think some of the spots that were on the hill were washed down, and filled in the areas below them. lol. Still grew some lovely grass. It is very true that you need to plan on at least 4 weeks for it to fill in the areas, but it does with lovely green.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this grass seed in my backyard. I live in northern Oklahoma, and I have two dogs who love to dig and three trees that give lots of shade. My soil is pretty sandy, but the seed has mostly stayed put where I spread it. It's coated so it will sprout faster than plain grass seed, and I like that it's a mix of varieties so I can see what will grow best. One bag covered about half my yard but I do spread it pretty thick since I don't have any grass. This brand usually does better than others in my backyard, so I'm excited to see this sprout and hopefully take over!

I would buy this again!

No problems with the process or the product, though our cat did take it upon himself to tear some holes in the thin bag before we could get it outside. So... just keep out of reach of pesky felines! Nice Seed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I was skeptical at first bc I have tried other gras seeds and never had any luck.I still have these bare spots in my yard it looks funny. I got out the spredder and did everything the bag said to do and a few weeks later I had something coming up I was so surprised. My yard looks so much better I don't have these embersing spots in my yard it looks so green and healthy you can not tell at all. I will be buying more so I can do more of the yard. This help so much it looks good and looks so healthy. I was shocked. Every time I try something else it never came up or got washed away or something but this stuff worked so amazing I was so surprised. My dad came over to see if I need help getting the yard mowed and he goes wow how did you fix the bare spots all in your yard and of course I told him and he said I need some for my yard I will have to get something and I was like you should dad it works so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hear me out. You have no knowledge of grass, when yo grow it, where to put it, how to spread it, if you need to water it etc. Well...that's me. I'm new to home ownership and I had quite a bit of bald patches around my yard. I followed the instructions on the bag and now I have lush grass that doesn't hurt when we run around barefoot. It took about a solid month before it fully came in, but BOY did it. It's so thick and beautiful. Now I feel like I need to take up all my grass just to plant more of this. I live in SE US and primarily have pine needles. I was able to have this growing without any work and through the needles that I ya know. Skipped over raking *that's a whole chore*. I'm so happy with this product and I truly didn't go into it with high hopes.

Faster working Grass seed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is part of a promotional free product trial. Somehow I did not receive the directions for this product. So, I followed the directions on the package. Mother Nature helped to keep the seed watered. It sprouted within a week, but we did have some heavy rains, and lost a good bit of seed. If you plant this, I would recommend a straw cover to help keep intact.

I planted in spring after spreading topsoil over bare spots. The seed germinated and the grass came in good. Everything looked good through the end of June here in SE Michigan. By the end of July the grass drying out and thinning. I would not recommend this product as a long term solution. I would like my money back.x
