This is the best detergent I've ever used and the original scent is an amazing smelling product. I even put the fabric softener in a spray bottle with water and use it to freshen up any fabric that needs a little boost.(curtains, sofa, blankets, carpet or even the car interior)

Love Gain Products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically don't use liquid fabric softener but this scent won me over from the start. I love tropical scents and this one is no exception.  I was a little confused at first as there are no directions on using it if your washer has no special dispenser, but i just dumped the cup in at the start and it seems to be working just fine. My clothes aren't quite as soft as using a dryer sheet, but the SCENT!!!  I could smell the fresh laundry as soon as I opened my front door. The scent lasts on my clothes all day, and during the 85 degree summer that is pretty impressive.

Smells like PARADISE

I have only used the Gain Tropical Sunrise Fabric Softener twice, but what I've noticed so far is how amazing it smells and a decrease in static.  I haven't noticed any difference in softness yet, but I also haven't washed any towels yet.  I will continue to use it and see how it affects my laundry!

It has a very nice summer scent that stays longer and made my laundry so smooth and soft. I enjoy the fact that my hair does not get static when waking up. Goodbye bad hair day!

summer fresh scent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my opinion, the Gain Tropical Sunrise Softener is pretty good but some small issues though. The bottle I have isn't way too thick, as a matter of fact, seems to be a tad thin. My washing machine is an older one, so I can understand the newer machines need thinner liquids. I do prefer something thicker than water though. 
The scent was a bit too light compared to my regular softeners, but I did like what little I could smell of it. My clothes were nice and soft, but not scented the way I thought they should be with Gain. 
I actually love the softness of my clothes with the Gain softener! The softness is a winner for me for sure. The bottle is a nice size and easy to handle which is nice for my weak hands. I'm gonna be trying  the Gain fabric softener in other scents as I need more. I would recommend Gain for those who want nice soft clothes for sure!

The original Gain scent fabric softener does not smell even close to original Gain washing powder. Is there a reason you cannot make the softener smell the same?
